Simba Run Vail Condominiums - Featured Reviews (201)
This place was super nice over you are inside your room. The front desk was very helpful in getting some lost items back to us. We had an epic view of the balcony. There is no AC and it was a hot weekend. Fans helped after the sun set. Parking is expensive but there is a $15 garage a few minute walk away.
Wow, Where should I start?!? We just had our best ski vacation, EVER! Location, Location, Location! Simba Run is extremely close to the lift and the shuttle service made it effortless to get the day started. It was so relaxing to cook a full breakfast and watch the sun peek over the mountains with a cup of hot coffee. Simba’s shuttle took us to both Lions Head and Vail Village so we could nab first tracks each day- it was outrageous. We put out our winter boots and walked into town each evening after a relaxing hot tub and sauna. The trail from Simba to town is out of a fairy tale- I wish I wouldn’t have left my DSLR at home. After a few drinks and a lot of amazing food each night, we’d hop back in the shuttle to make it home for a nice read by the fireplace before bed (I need to find out what bedding was used because it was like sleeping in a cloud and I just can’t go back to my old stuff at home #spoiled). The rooms were spotless and spacious with great views of the sunrise and we caught sunsets each night from the tennis courts which stretched on forever through the Vail Valley. I don’t think I quite realized how much of the night sky I was missing either- there was zero light pollution and we even caught 4-5 shooting stars (we made a wish each time too haha)! Of course, the kids enjoyed the fireplace for s’mores and the heated indoor pool! To sum it up, Simba Run will be where we’ll stay for Winter vacations in Vail. My wife could not believe that I was able to plan us such an amazing Winter vacation and I want to keep this winning streak rolling! Honestly, Simba Run made it easy for me and I couldn’t give it a higher recommendation!
Stayed at Simba Run several times and at different times of the year. I like the friendly staff, the proximity to Vail Village, and the competitive rates. Well worth the money spent.
Loved this place! Super close to the vail village, nice and quiet- private garage parking- sauna and hot tub and pool were clean. Nothing to complain about! LOVED IT!
The front desk agents go above and beyond to make certain the guests are taken care of. We love our condo. It is very spacious and fully equipped with everything we need. The shuttle to Vail Village and Lionshead is very convenient and it is much appreciated. Thanks for a great stay.
We stayed here for two nights in July. Very easy check in, convenient parking lot. Close to Lionshead Village. It was very clean and nice, upstairs had a nice walk in shower. Well equipped kitchen, fast WiFi , nice living room with big sectional couch and nice dining area. It was very clean and well maintained. As far as the complainers on the road noise, it’s a fact of life in Vail. You are never going to get away from road noise from I-70. Period. It runs all along Vail valley. Just shut the windows, and turn on the air conditioning and it’s just fine, the condos are fairly noise proof. I would come back here again.
I would not recommend this place to a friend. ||The cleanliness of the rooms was mediocre (hair on the floors/bathe tubs) ||Refrigerator was not working when we arrived but we didn’t know until the day after we bought groceries. A total loss of fresh foods. On the 3rd day we were given another unit which had an ill working washing machine. Repair man came next day while we were out- said it worked fine. We did a load that night…washer would not drain. Luckily we had other family staying so we just used their washer. Maintenance was too slow to respond. ||Front desk closes at 4:00 so if u have any requests or issues after that, good luck||The rooms were extremely warm, and no additional fans were available for use. NO A/C. ||Room card keys often did not work..luckily a few times we were able to catch the front desk before 4:00. Otherwise…not sure how one would get into their room. ||Not the best place for summertime visit.
We stayed at Simba Run for 2 nights. We were 4 adults with 2 kids and we had a 2 bedroom condo with views. It was such an amazing experience to wake up to the mountains facing you. It snowed and snowed and it got even more beautiful. The indoor temperature controlled pool was good entertainment for the kids. We took the shuttle into Vail downtown many times and was such a convenient amenity to have on those snowy days. The refrigerator, oven everything was in excellent condition. The dishwasher was having some draining issues, but we called for some one to take a look and a person came in, in no time. Overall a very enjoyable experience. Would definitely go back.
Luxurious housing in Vail, Colorado. The unit is quite large with high quality furniture and appliances. Car parking is valet and complimentary to guests. There is also complimentary shuttles between hotel and near by Vail or Lionshead Village - In a
Staying in vail was not in our initial plan on our road trip to Colorado but we had one day extra and we decided to stay in vail. Iâm so glad we were there. This place was one of the best highlights of our 2 week trip. This property is gorgeous, th
We stayed in a townhouse. It was perfect. Small kitchen, plenty of bathrooms and comfy beds. It was less than 10 mins from the village/lift. It was very relaxing. We even called the front desk for a couple things and they were super quick to respond.
Beautiful dog park. I stopped on my travels from the West Coast to the Midwest. Not far off the freeway and very friendly locals. Beautiful spot in the valley.
I was in Vail for a work trip with several colleagues and on a day when a few of us went skiing, we all decided to meet here for lunch during the day. The location and atmosphere is amazing, with great views of the mountains. The food was really good
Vail is huge, has awesome slopes, and stunning scenery. Coming from the east coast, it was absolutely jaw dropping when we first made it to the top. Definitely agree with everyone else that it's one of the most scenic resorts in Colorado.
Decided to try something simple and delicious, Blü Cow was just the right place. Their Swiss hot dogs are yummy, along with rejuvenating Uber Soup. Friendly service.
Great Italian restaurant in Vail. Highly recommend reservations, although one can arrive early and get to snag a seat at the bar (which often has people eating there). They have a nice wine selection, which because itâs Colorado, you can take your
From a wedding photographer's perspective, you really can't beat the Larkspur wedding experience! Stunning mountain views all around, an incredibly beautiful and intimate reception space, and can host one heck of a party! We recently photographed a w
First of all, I would like to thank the personnel! Amazing customer service. The rooms are spacious and clean! Unfortunately our room lost power and heating in the evening of second night, they fixed it fast, and for the heating brought us the portab
