Best thing going for this motel is the location, if you plan to spend time in the old downtown area. Front desk assistance is virtually nonexistent. We could not get anything on the TV and calls for assistance went to voicemail and were returned when we were out of the room. The bed was comfortable. The fact that the coffee machine was something you might find in a motel 6 left one feeling like there should have been something better or coffee available in the registration area for the price. Overall the price wasn’t worth the convenience to downtown.
Great central location. Walk to everything downtown Silverton. On the spendy side over $200 on a week day night. But I hiked at Silverfalls State Park. It was so nice to get a room after a 7 mile hike. Clean room. Plumbing in bathroom leaking. But easy to ignore. Restaurant attached but not open for breakfast.
Positive: It has a perfect location, friendly staff, a great bed and bathroom, and well furnished. We were very comfortable staying here and would book it again. Negative: "" Negative: ""
This is a fantastic hotel for what it is. It's old enough to have some character (fire sprinkler pipes below the ceiling, real paintings hanging on the walls) but still recently remodeled and well maintained. I like that the mattress was firm and our room had a real kitchenette. The restaurant and lounge looks fantastic but we were there in the off season so it was closed on Sundays. Guess we'll have to go back, haha!
My husband and I made the decision to book the "honeymoon suite" for our wedding weekend, held at a beautiful venue in Scott Mills. The night before our wedding, my husband and his groomsmen stayed in the suite to ensure we could spend the evening apart. The following night, after our wedding reception with a magical sparkler exit, we returned to the hotel, excited to spend our first night together as husband and wife. However, upon opening the door to our room, our joy quickly turned to disappointment and frustration. To our dismay, we found our room untouched since the previous night's stay. The promised roses and champagne were nowhere to be seen, and the remnants of the previous night's celebration were scattered throughout the room. The unmade bed and beer bottles left behind painted a stark contrast to the romantic atmosphere we had anticipated. For a small establishment like this, failing to ensure the proper servicing of any room is disappointing. However, it is especially disheartening when it happens to be the honeymoon suite, for which we had paid a substantial $600 per night. This oversight not only fell short of our expectations but also marred what should have been one of the most memorable nights of our lives. When we confronted the manager, their explanation was bizarre. They claimed that guests now had to request room cleaning due to issues under the previous owner's management. This departure from industry norms left us perplexed, especially since my aunt's room, also at the hotel for the wedding weekend, was cleaned without request. Adding to our disappointment, the manager was rude and unapologetic during our interaction. His unprofessional conduct left us frustrated and bewildered.
This property is in a great location and the hotel could be so much better if the issues we experienced are resolved. Not enough supplies were provided for four people staying four nights (1/2 roll of toilet paper, very little dish washing soap, not enough towels and some were stained with dirt and blood). The counters and floors were filthy. The utensil holder and drawers were also dirty and three very used sponges were left for our use. With no one in the office.....we went and purchased our own supplies and we cleaned the room thoroughly before our 7 year old played on the floor. We also had to wash all dishes and the coffee pot before we used them. Housekeeping was way below the standard of what hotels should now be....especially after COVID. The parking area was small and shared by the restaurant patrons....forcing guests to park in the street. Our room was right next to the smoking area so we were never able to leave our windows open for fresh air. Not sure why the smoking area isn't on the other side of the property where they don't open the windows. After two days we let the manager know of the issues we were experiencing. He brought towels, garbage bags, one roll of toilet paper and dish soap. He offered to let Housekeeping come in and clean, but we didn't want anyone in our room while we were there and we had already cleaned. We should have never experienced these issues to begin with. Hopefully....future guests will not have to go through what we had to take care of ourselves.
So nice! To start- the front desk ladies were incredibly friendly, kind, accommodating and helpful. We were last minute on a holiday due to unforeseen circumstances and they went above and beyond to make sure that we had a comfortable place to stay for the few nights we were in town. The room is lovely. Clean, well decorated, love the tile floor, small kitchenette, bathroom is very clean. Bed was so comfortable! Would definitely recommend.
Booked a room here for an adventure to Silver Falls State Park and it was a little pricey for what you get but it's a great little town and location..
Wow!! Absolutely the best Italian bread Iâve ever had! I had the burrata white pizza with mortadella and my husband had the Caprese focaccia sandwich. Both were excellent. The pizza crust had exactly enough bite without being chewy or dry. Took hom

My friends and I love the history of Covered bridges and this one didn't disappoint; the Gallon House Covered Bridge was built in 1916 and has been repaired many times, just driving through it makes you feel you went through a time in history. There

Super cute place! The tacos were huge and in handmade tortillas which I loved and they came pretty quickly after ordering. They also had a Bakery inside with probably the best bread Iâve had in a while, in a wide variety. Definitely try the stuffed

Walked around Silverton today. Nice small town, not much to do there. If you walk around the Main Street youâll find some small shops and there was also a very small farmers market. For lunch we stopped at the Bistro & Bar. The food was delicious a
