Fantastic resort…..beautiful updated clean rooms reasonably priced. Staff was very courteous and helpful…loved the inroom amenities. Full kitchen was equipped with complete appliances and anything needed to fix meals if so desired…coffee maker worked well and the supply of coffee was great…I especially enjoyed watching the hummingbirds from the outdoor patio with cute table and chairs. Very relaxing area
Lovely room with pretty art work, comfortable beds, a fridge, and a balcony with a table, chairs, and a beautiful view! My only complaints are that we had to travel to a whole different floor, and walk to the other side of the building, just for ice. And there was no trash can in the room, not even in the bathroom. Luckily we had a paper bag that we collected our trash in.
Our family of 4 greatly enjoyed our week long stay at Silverado Lodge in Canyons Village, Park City. We had our 7 and 12 year old with us and we skied everyday we were there. The location was convenient to the mountain. We took the free shuttle to the top of the Cabriolet each day rather than walk since it is a bit of an uphill walk. Without the kids we probably would've just walked but the shuttle was an easy and nice method of transportation. Our 2 bedroom, 3 full bathroom unit was newly remodeled and perfect for us. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc which was great as we cooked and ate in most nights. We had a nice patio with furniture we sat on daily and took in the views! The pool and hot tub were always open and the front desk staff were friendly and available when we needed something. There isn't any daily housekeeping but you can schedule it and pay an extra fee to have your room cleaned. We didn't need to and only called front desk when we needed more toilet paper, towel service and trash pickup. The only signs of construction we saw was some exposed ceiling sections but it wasn't bothersome and we never heard any construction noise. We also valeted our skis each day inside the front lobby and each morning they'd already be waiting outside for us to grab just before hopping on the shuttle. There was underground garage parking at the lodge as well. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would stay at the Silverado Lodge again!
I suppose you get what you pay for, but still. The check-in process was lovely and the gentleman at the front desk was very friendly. The property was promising with a pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, all of which stayed open either 24 hours or later than other options in the area. The room was also promising with a fully outfitted kitchen and smart TV. Unfortunately, the A/C was blowing hot air and continued to do so even after maintenance came to the room. No options were offered besides "open a window" or "use the fan that's in the closet" (no fan to be found). The next morning we discovered there was no hot water in the primary bathroom. Luckily we had access to another bathroom which did function properly. When we reported the issues to the front desk upon check-out, the response was "thanks for letting us know." Maybe it's because we're from Vegas where that response would never have flown, but I was profoundly underwhelmed. I feel most sorry for the unit owners who probably wonder why their units aren't cash flowing. I suspect it's partly because of the subpar service provided to guests.
Sounded good on paper(and online). Check in process made everything sound great. No mention of the entire place being under construction, or the fact that the AC system is not working at all, or that they were taking a $200 deposit that I still haven't gotten back almost a week later. We had to deal with a maintenance person installing a portable A/C unit while we were trying to get ready in our room since it was 85 degrees in the room. The unit only cooled our room down to 73 by the next morning and it quickly rise into the high 70s even with the unit buy the time were were gratefully checking out. After sharing our experience with the front desk upon leaving, we were basically dismissed, and told we should come back in a month or two and give them another chance! No effort to address our concerns, so we're posting them here to help others before they book here. We have never left another bad review in all our traveling, but this experience was not fun, even trying to get our deposit back.
We stayed here a a couple for four nights in January. The room was just what we expected for a "studio." The room was recently remodeled and had a full kitchen, a comfy new couch, and a pull down murphy bed. For two it was perfect.||There is NOT a lot of closet space, but that was OK with us. Also, we were not skiing and so we did not have to store skis.||The location is great. It is about a 6-8 minute walk up the hill past the WestGate resort to the main Canyons Village. Easy walk. There is also a bus that comes every 15 minutes. ||Easy free buses take you to Park City and Deer Valley. ||There are not a lot of bells and whistles with Silverado Lodge, but the employees were really nice and the front desk is open all the time. They are still doing some renovations when we stayed. Some tiles were out of the ceiling, and we had no hot water one day for a few hours, but they quickly fixed it...and then refunded our resort fee to compensate for it.||This place was perfect for us.
This is really well priced lodge a short walk and a two minute shuttle ride from the Red Pine Gondola in Canyons Village, Park City. We got a two room suite that was well priced and really large. The suite had two big bedrooms with three bathrooms, multiple showers, a bath, and a jacuzzi. The kitchen was also fairly new with a nice counter and table to dine ate. Finally, the kitchen is part of the large sitting rooms with two nice size couches to relax after a long day of skiing. Relative to other hotel options in the area, the rooms are quite large. Service was spectacular with someone at the desk 24/7 to tend to any of our needs. Nathan at the front desk was especially friendly and helpful. Chabad of Park City is also accessible directly from the lodge. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're going to ski at Park City!
Microwave broken. Fireplace broken. No one at the front desk ever. Have to check in at a different hotel. Gave us a complimentary late check out at 12 then locked us out of our room and the parking garage at 11.
There are always classes that fit my schedule and the app makes it so easy to book them. The coaches are great and very motivating and I love that I have a record of my performance on the app
Awesome park with playgrounds, basketball courts, volleyball courts, pickleball and tennis courts, plus a station to pump up your bike, giant dog park with a mini lake, and lots of open grass area.
So much fun. Something for everyone so bring your beginneror trail ripper friends and they'll have a blast! Great trail design with quick climb and quick, feature rich descents. Free to everyone, this is a local gem.
Phenomenal food and friendly, fantastic service from Sonny. The beef patty was to die for and everything else (oxtail, roti curry, jerk chicken and shrimp) was so flavorful too! We'll definitely be back soon.
