I knew the woman that owned it, it's still in her family. It's old so you shouldn't expect so much. The staff are great, I would recommend it.
Checked in. Had to leave a $50 cash deposit on top of $100 room charge. Got to room. Terrible. No pictures. No hangers or hooks for clothes. Tile floor. We took a nap and left. Got our $50 back, but lost the $100. Went to holiday inn express. Now we have a nice room. Don’t stay here.
Stayed here recently and the staff was amazing and very kind. Rooms were very clean. Everything was as expected and went smoothly!! Great place to stay!!! Located within a minutes of everything!!!
So far I've been here 3 days got the room for a week looking for a place for my daughter n son in law to stay n close enough to shops for job wise. The rooms are spacious n everyone is very nice. So far my experience has been great instead of looking for an apartment for me n my mother n my son I'm considering in just staying here as well. As far as those bad reviews u can't believe everything people say. Some have higher expectations. The hot water is great n the pressure awesome. Way to go silver springs motel for doing.your best to keep the place in good condition n for being so nice n welcoming....
beautiful terrazo floors, very nice vintage rooms, Staff is very friendly and helpful. We originally booked for 3 days then had to change to a week later for a week which we extended another week. Very accomidating, clean and bright. Undergoing some renovations and updating. Very good price, cost effective for an extended time in the area. Close by to many restruants of varying price range and tourist sites.
My fiance had made reservations for 2 rooms. He, my mother and I were staying there for the weekend of our wedding bon Oct 3. We arrived late, I had tried to call to let them know, no answer. There were NO SHEETS ON EITHER BED IN #21. Management had to go buy sheets for one bed. Then the PD shows up with K-9 and police everywhere... two doors from my mom and my room, #27, trying to arrest a man with a warrant the police were attempting to arrest. He didn't want to come out and I was ordered into my room.||The room was not really clean. The bathroom sink had been stopped up and nasty water sitting in it. Went to office, maintenance came and unstopped it, and left a big, watery, dirty mess that I had to clean up|| When I pulled the covers back, there was a huge hole right in the middle where I was to sleep, exposing a dirty mattress cover. Told management next day, they bought a new set of sheets, gave them to me unwashed in the PKG, I guess to make the bed myself. We had towels, but room 21 did not. Room 21 was completely unprepared for occupancy. We reserved for 3 nites from 1 to 3 of October. I wanted to leave in the first 10 minutes after we arrived and find another motel, but it was late.||We stayed the entire weekend... would've loved to try the pool, but honestly, I didn't trust that it would be adequately clean and water tested with the way the rest of the motel was kept. Looks good from the street, but once I you move into a room, you can tell it has not had good upkeep and is mostly transient occupants. The other side of our room was a pleasant enough couple, but started arguing loudly at about 7 a.m. each morning we were there and at intervals during our stay. Management was courteous, and met basic needs, but we had reservations for almost two weeks... they should have been ready for us with rooms made up fresh. Especially since we arrived after 6 p.m. ||It could be a wonderful motel, so much potential, but with absentee owners, the management bus is Not realizing that full potential... and completely fails customers that come to stay in not even making sure rooms are clean and ready on arrival with reservations. Also, I had to go after the first night to fetch a bedspread to cover the 2nd bed exposed mattress and when the person had brought sheets for the bed he was to sleep in, he had to request them to make the bed for him as they had just handed everything to him at the door. I had to rinse my tub down before I bathed. My bare feet were black on bottom from the dirty, uncarpeted floor. I can't say it was all horrible, we hung in, but there were handwritten signs all over the office stating NO REFUNDS and we paid nearly, if not the whole of $300 for the rooms for the weekend. Definitely NOT a family friendly motel. Not prepared for reserved guests in check-in and woefully unclean and unsafe premises.||Sorry, but it's an F Plus at the Silver Springs Motel for anything but transient occupants. ||Mr and Mrs Robert Bolen..
Laid back and very accommodating. Probably the only Motel that allows Medicinal Mj.
This was one of the most terrible experiences I’ve ever had staying at a hotel even for the price. All these people riding good reviews must be getting discounts or all friendly with the managers of the hotels because that is far from the truth and I have video proof and pictures. The health department was recently at this hotel and they did in fact find bedbugs and there is no hot water or if it does come on its goals you because it goes from cold to hot. The toilet in room 22 was leaking all over the floor which I also have pictures and videos of. When I went and complained to Management she was very mean and aggressive towards me.
