Worst! No heat no hot water sexual harassment by the drunk and touching and pawing owner. Inappropriate dishonest freezing ...I've had to dispute $260 that was charged to my card fraudulently . No WiFi. Had to call the police to stand by and file report for sexual harassment and will contact building and safety in the morning. This place had a padlock hold on the outside of the door of the room???? Human Trafficking! Thieves. Dishonest and how do they stay open wt no heat and no hot water? Please SHUT this place down! Have to go to clinic for bed bug bites. Horrible expierience

Outside appearance seemed fine. It was dark so rather difficult to really tell. We arrived about 10:30 pm. A lady that could barely speak English told us $75.00. Ok! Not a bad price. Room was large with one queen bed which none of the linen matched. Door had a broken lock. Carpet and furniture was filthy. Bathroom was disgusting dirty. Hair in the shower & on floor. Dirty oil was present on the shower tiles. I went back to the office to say we just couldn’t stay in the room as it was so dirty. The lady walked back to the room with me where she proceeded to tell me it was clean and linen were freshly washed! |She decided to give us another room. She’d bring the key for the new room. She never came back. After 30 minutes I went to the office door and it was locked. I rang the bell. No answer. By this time it’s almost midnight. |My husband and I tried to sleep in our car until 5:00 am. I wrote them a note and put it in the key return box and we left. |I called my bank regarding the charge. I was told they had a credit machine that immediately charged your account and they had already receive the funds. My card was a credit/debit. |After 3 weeks of diligence I got my money back!|This was not a good experience for us. I might mention I think this place took advantage of 2 senior citizens!
This place does not even deserve a one star! Awful place! Everything was filthy. The carpet, the walls, doors, unmatched curtains, stained shhets, you name it pure filth! It was so bad it was hilarious! Still laughing now at how amazingly bad it was. Lesson learnt, if in doubt always request to look at the accommodation first especially if you turn up on the spur of the moment. They even had the cheek to ask for a $5 dollar key deposit, which they conveniently tried to forget!
Arrivé un peu par hasard sans avoir pris de renseignements.||Les draps étaient OK, l'eau était propre.||Mais la literie âgée et défoncée et un niveau de saleté jamais constaté dans un établissement. ||Le ménage n'a pas été fait depuis longtemps, ni sur les sanitaires, ni sur les vitres, meubles, etc...||J'en ai fait la remarque au patron en partant qui ne s'en est pas alarmé du tout.
This place rented me a room that had blood on the wall in bathroom and after spending two hours cleaning the room myself and $80.00 I went to take a shower only to find that the plumbing didn't work and the shower had sewage backing up into the shower. Asked for refund and got a WAY BETTER SEMI DECENT room. Heck of a night! 😵
Honestly, I wouldn't even give this place one star. I have NEVER had so many problems at a motel in my life! First off, the owner, An elderly Chinese man was borderline sexual harassing me, sticking his tongue out and telling me to stop by later for champagne. If it wasn't my job to report this, I would have left right then and there. The first room looked clean and decent, until I opened the closet door. There was black mold growing on the walls and ceiling and the carpet was damp. I switched to a room in the back with a kitchen. At night it was impossible to sleep from all the loud noises from the people staying there. That night I witnessed the owner bring in two prostitutes to his room, meanwhile a scary looking obese woman with piercings all over her face in room 23 dealing drugs all night at her door. Finally after the noise went down at 4am, I turned off the lights to go to sleep when all of a sudden i'm itchy. So I turn on the light and and huge bed bugs all over the bed and myself, at least 20 bugs! I ran to the kitchen and there's black cockroaches coming out of the walls and stove! It was like a horror movie! I ran out and even left some stuff behind because I just wanted to leave. As I'm going to my car, I noticed the owner had parked his burgundy van right next to my car, nearly blocking it in!! Beware of Silver Sands Motel or as I call it, Nightmare on East main street.

Internet password given to us by the worn out woman working the front desk did not work. She was polite but had difficulty understanding me. Her english was minimal at best. The room was like a cave, very spartan.
The hotel has black mold in the shower, is NOT clean, there was a water bottle that neither my boyfriend or I brought with us. I would NOT recommend this hotel. I don't think it should even have one star.
