Silver Palms Inn - Hotel in Key West - 830 Truman Ave, USA

Peter and Simone were amazing! Our reservation was last minute and we needed advice on parking. They were very helpful in clarifying parking options. Bedding was super comfortable, room was spacious and close to the pool. The pool was the perfect temperature and there were great seating options. The omelet station combined with the continental breakfast was delicious. Food was fresh every day. We would have extended our stay if there had been availability.

This was a nice hotel about 3 blocks off Duval. Truman Ave is Hwy 1 so is continually busy. We asked for a room in back and all was quiet. We were on 3rd floor and there is an elevator. 24 hour desk. The hotel has a nice pool. Our room was large but needed some minor maintenance - grout. Some new grout had been applied slopy.. Clean room, daily maid service. Breakfast furnished, typical motel fare although you could get an omelet made to order.Room AC controls on wall and required some fiddling.

A jewel of a find in Key West: excellent on all accounts. |1.Location: very central, walking distance to everything. Many lovely restaurants nearby. |2.King ocean view: large room, spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed, nice pillows, linens and towels. Only feedback - wall air conditioner was difficult to master. Room to hot/humid or north wind blasting on you. If the panel had a directional grid - world have been helpful. This minor issue would NOT prevent me from returning. |3. Breakfast - great coffee, the freshest bagels I have ever had. Lovely delicious omelettes. Area kept very clean. Gourmet coffee 24 hours/day. |4. Free parking!! This is a very very good included value. If you feel the room rate is too high - subtract $50 savings for the parking. That was the going rate. Having said that - the hotel rate is very very reasonable. |5. Pool - clean, sparkling salt water pool. Altho area is small - never felt over crowded. |6. The front desk staff are some of the kindest and loveliest I have encountered. Their friendliness continues through out all the staff.

My husband and I stayed a week at Silver Palms. From the moment we arrived we felt at ease and enjoyed all that this convenient location provided. Everyone... front desk, housekeeping, and the ladies that made certain that we were well fed before starting our day were pleasant and made our stay outstanding. The accommodations were clean and our room was welcoming after a day of exploring this "old town". The pool with a waterfall feature was a great place to just sit and relax. Simona greeted us upon arrival and was a pleasure to get to know. Since this was our first trip to Key West she went out of her way to welcome us and tell us about some of the more interesting places to visit and dine, even orienting us and personalizing a map for us to keep and use during our stay. At the end of the week I felt like I was leaving an old friend. |We feel fortunate to have found Silver Palms and I hope this review will help others make that same decision.

This might be one of the best places I have ever stayed. They do everything right. Rooms are spacious, clean and modern. Lobby and pool areas are clean and well maintained. The staff is very helpful and attentive. The breakfast is amazing, especially the omelets! Coffee in the lobby was gourmet (not the usual weak hotel coffee) and available 24 hours. Free parking and bikes were available to rent on site. Great location.

Exceptionally clean rooms and property. Nicely decorated rooms, comfortable bed with great pillows and bed linens. Manager Peter and all employees we encountered were so pleasant. Great location. Fresh, good food for breakfast. This was our third stay here.

First time there. We were so pleasantly surprised. The check in staff were so friendly and accommodating. There was a bit of a mix up with one of our rooms…. Simona was so helpful. She worked with us and the management to fix the problem. The rooms are clean and well kept. Maid service was perfect. The pool was great…. Sunny and warm. Great location! Close to Duval St. We had a blast and having a nice place to stay made it even better!!! Yay Silver Palms!! We thought the price was comparable and worth it!

We stayed at Silver Palms for one night and it was almost perfect for us. There’s free, safe parking included in the cost and we got a space no problem; plus all the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful.||Our second floor corner room was large and had a nice balcony; it was also mostly very clean but did have a very dodgy stain on one light switch that looked like dried blood! We didn’t hear any noise from other guests but the air con unit in the room was incredibly loud at times.||The breakfast was decent (bagels, pastries etc and a fresh omelette station) and the small pool area was lovely and a very welcome addition for a quick dip before we checked out.
