Silver Bow is located in a canyon and borders the Big Hole River. From the time we pulled in in drive, we were wowed. Absolutely beautiful.|The Big Horn sheep payed a visit every afternoon. |We were personally greeted by the owners and staff who immediately made us feel welcomed. |The lodge is operated by the owners, and they really go to extremes to accommodate the guests.|The river was closed to fishing, by the State, on the day we arrived, but Adam, Rachel, and Sam had made backup plans, and we were able to fish some other beautiful Montana rivers.|The fishing guides are contracted and first rate. We are new to fly fishing, and they were extremely patient with us beginners, and all of our equipment was provided.|Jake and Cindy did an amazing job with the meals. the food was excellent. |There are four wheelers available for guest use, and we took a break from fishing and did the 27-mile self guided ranch and forest tour. What an incredible and relaxing day. We stopped by the charcoal kills, which was a special treat.|We stayed in the Elk Suite, which is very large and very comfortable, but all of the rooms are nice.|As nice as the facility is and all of the activities, it is the family and entire staff that makes the Silver Bow such a fantastic experience.
We stayed at the Silver Bow Club near Butte Montana early July. We chose to stay in the Caddis Cabin. The resort was absolutely beautiful - wildlife and birds everywhere, and pure silence at nighttime.||The staff and food were wonderful and abundant. The hiking and River Trails easily accessible had great views of people fly fishing, and catching Trout!||We will definitely want to come back!
A beautiful lodge in a wonderful area. We stayed in a separate house with a fully equipped kitchen and easily enough space for 2 couples. The meals were extraordinary ( and we come from San Francisco, so our standards are high) and the staff perfectly attentive without ever being over bearing. A bit pricey when the guided fishing trips were added. But the guides taught both my wife and daughter to fly cast in a very short time ( My daughter caught a dozen trout during our first day) Horseback riding was perfectly suited to us. This trip was a gift but we will return on our own
Rachel, Adam, Sam. Jake , Zach and staff - Thank you for an amazing experience. Your hospitality was amazing. Between the beautiful scenery and the homelike feeling my husband and I had s wonderful vacation. Also thank you to our Anglers Travis and Talen!! They were the best and they made our fly fishing experience memorable. We learned alot about Montana and the wonderful people who live in the state. Very friendly and down to earth. We would recommend this fabulous resort to anyone who wants a home away from home experience with fun filled activities and wonderful people! Thank you for a wonderful week!
Silver bow Ranch is perfect getaway for a peaceful, yet fun and serene atmosphere. Adam, Rachel and their team did an amazing job hosting us and catering to our needs. We stayed in the Cabins and they were beautiful, clean and properly stocked. The ranch itself is beautiful and they did a great job coordinating the activities for us. We would highly recommend families to come visit and have a special experience at this family owned business, makes home away from home.
My husband and I visited Silver Bow Club for my husbands 30th birthday. From our welcome to our departure we had an excellent stay. Our room, The Elk Suite, was spacious and equip with a gas fireplace and views of the pond. The staff was very accommodating as I am pregnant and had to adjust my scheduled events as a result. The fishing and hunting trips exceeded our expectations! Finally, the food was 5 starts for breakfast, lunch, and dinner - I'm still dreaming of the French toast. Everyone was kind, welcoming, and willing to go above and beyond to make our stay a trip to remember. While our excursions were exciting, our favorite part of the day was sitting outside with a cocktail (or mocktail) and enjoying the breathtaking views of the property. We hope to be back sooner than later and would recommend SBC to everyone!
Wonderful place to stay! Food was excellent and the fishing was great! Our guide Jake was a real pro and we caught a lot of fish. Rainbow, Browns and cutthroats.|The family and staff were incredibly friendly and professional. This is a hidden beauty, peaceful and beautiful lodge and grounds.|We will return!
Silver Bow is a family run ranch. Adam and the rest of the Bowe family are spectacular hosts paying attention to the smallest of details. They treat each guest like they are the only guest present at the lodge. The lodge, scenery, food and staff are all 5 star. Access to the Big Hole is easy and the fishing is incredible. My family and I have been numerous times and we look forward to returning each year.
Great little campground with two loops. Has a boat launch for rafts into the river. Host were very nice and kept a very clean campground. Grass is green and cut weekly.
