Silver Beach Club - Resort hotel in Daytona Beach - 1025 S Atlantic Ave, USA

At check in the staff & maintenance men were arguing with each other. There are no other issues with staff after. The AC in our room wasn't working so we called the front. Maintenance came right away & spent about 45 minutes clearing the drain & replacing the filter. He got it working again. It says they charge $156 for a lost room key! These are your regular tap style keys that are cheap, easily disabled, & easily replaced. That & the list of chores made us feel like they were looking for a way to add additional charges. Check-in is earlier than most other resorts in Daytona at 10 a.m. The pool is nice with a depth of 8"10. Hot tub as well. Not very busy. Kitchens were well stocked. Plenty of towels provided. Only one elevator works. No beach access from property. Public access is right next door. The restaurant on site is closed. The beds are very squeaky. Blankets were comfortable & extra linens for the pull out couch were in the closet. You must take your own garbage out to the dumpster at the front of the property. You must also strip all linens. Most resorts only ask you to place all dishes in the dishwasher. Beach area is high traffic since it's next to public access, including driving onto the beach. I paid $540 for two nights. I appreciated the space. Overall, I would stay elsewhere for similar money to have more amenities, later check out, & not so many chores to do on my short vacation.

This resort was nothing short of amazing. We received a warm welcome from the staff at the front desk when checking in. The room was updated, had a really nice smart TV, a gorgeous view, and the hot tub and pool were great. There is also a cafe downstairs which I think is truly a hidden gem as the lady who runs it makes her desserts fresh from scratch, including key lime pie that’s to die for. She even grows her own limes to use for lime juice in the pies! Altogether it was a wonderful stay and we will definitely return in the future.

We are enjoying our stay at the Silver Beach Club. The hotel is a little older than some places on the beach but it has been updated with very nice rooms and accommodations. The desk clerk has a wealth of information to share and also gave us options to do things at the resort, which sound like a lot of fun. There is a nice pool with seating around it. Our balcony looks directly onto the beach and into the ocean. It's beautiful!

It's an older resort, but they do a pretty decent job of keeping it together. The water and internet went out, so that wasn't so great. No dishwasher in our unit either. And the nearest elevator to us is still down. The seawall steps are still broken, but the beach is still otherwise readily accessible. The pool is quite nice. The view of the ocean from our room was wonderful. And the staff were great - housekeeping, front desk, cafe - all of them.

The resort ocean view is a parking lot so don't expect much of a view.. we were on the first floor so you didn't see the ocean at all. The pool was on the side of the building so you didn't even get to see a pool view... just a parking lot... rooms were outdated but it fit our needs.. we don't stay in the room very much... they had everything we need except a washer and dryer for laundry.. no gym either..pool was ok...I did love the bin they had at the pool for guest to leave behind their beach chairs and toys for other guests to use... we left our stuff there for others to use. Great idea so guests don't have to pay a ridiculous amount of money for something they are only going to use for a few days. Area was ok too.. all in all it wasn't bad. Just don't expect a high end resort..

From the moment we pulled up to the hotel the front desk attendant Christina was very polite and helpful. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable. Steps from the beach and the pool. The kitchen was fully stocked with cups, pans,utensils, etc. Everything is close by whether you want to go out to eat or go grocery shopping. Love this place!

We stayed here for our first beach trip with our 3 kids and were pleased with the convenience in location and how helpful the staff was. Our second night a bug crawled out of the oven after I cooked frozen pizzas for the kids and the staff was very accommodating and switched us rooms immediately. The lady running the cafe was legit the sweetest lady ever.||Right on the beach for the price and you could not beat it. The pool was undergoing some maintenance on our last day so our girls were disappointed they couldn't swim after the beach but they had a blast regardless!
