Signal Inn Pet-Friendly Island Condos - Resort hotel in Sanibel - 1811 Olde Middle Gulf Dr, USA

This is our second time staying here and both times it was great. Only the second time there was construction in the neighboring cottage and it was noisy. Our dog was very sick and on medication. We could not leave her alone because of the noise through the wall in the neighboring cottage. But the manager of this place was very kind and professional, the next day we changed the cottage. I just didn’t understand why we weren’t offered another cottage right away on the day of arrival, they knew that the workers there were making noise ... but this is not a big problem ... the managers are very pleasant and friendly. All cottages have a fully equipped kitchen and a large refrigerator making it convenient to prepare breakfast and snacks. There is a washing machine and dryer on the large balcony, it helps not to take a lot of clothes with you. On the ground floor of any cottage you will find beach chairs and an umbrella. Also convenient, no need to overload your car ... very quiet and the beach is almost empty. There are two grocery stores on the island and one very close to this place. It also creates convenience...

We have vacationed at Signal Inn #18 twice and we plan to stay again. This beautiful condo has 3 large bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The family room furniture has been updated since our first visit, and is very comfortable and cozy. The condo is equipped with everything you need. They even have an assortment of beach chairs and umbrellas! The beach is steps away and very private. If you've never been to Sanibel, you'll be amazed by the shells on the beach! We were so excited to find a pet friendly vacation home. The condo was spotless and fresh smelling. You would never know it was dog friendly, as there was not a dog hair in sight. There is an assortment of games for fun family time, and also several tvs in case it rains. This has become our favorite spot and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Sanibel.

We had the most wonderful stay here at Signal Inn and plan on coming every year! The location is outstanding, being right on the beach, and it's also very private and secluded. We loved being able to bring our pups and the team there is so kind, helpful and caring. They even had toys for the dogs and a little flashlight for us (for evening potty breaks) when we checked in. Our unit was extremely clean and came with everything that we needed, including a full kitchen. We brought our groceries with us (staples) and just down the road is Jerry's grocery store too (which we visited all the time) and enjoyed cooking and having the convenience of the kitchen/ The units have large screened balconies and washer/dryer in unit. We can't wait to come back again, thank you Signal Inn! One day there was a brief rainstorm that left a beautiful full rainbow.

The service and location was great! I stayed in the 16 building so we had a balcony, it has an amazing view of the beach and the sky, and the beach wasn't very crowded. The only reason I give this a 4 stars instead of 5 is because, one, when unlocking the door it was very difficult to do as it kept getting stuck. Two, in one of the rooms the bed was broken and it had moved a couple of the floor boards, and the floor had a pointy bit right where you walk so your would get stabbed in the foot everything you walk in the room. Overall it was a great experience I just wished the rooms were kept in great condition.

This was my second time staying at Signal Inn for a family vacation. And I never want to leave once we are here. The beach access is so close. The views are amazing. The pool is great too. And townhouse #16 is like being at home. It is big enough for a family of 5 and I just absolutely love staying here and will continue to come back as long as they are here. Signal Inn is like a hidden gem.

The reservation process was so easy and cordial over the phone. The quality of the townhouse exceeded my expectations and the pool and hot tub were adequate. The expansive, quiet and almost private beach is why you should choose this hotel. Almost 40 yards between beach goers for 5 days straight. We enjoyed this privacy as did our two dogs on the dog-friendly beach Sanibel is a gem and each time we go there we are reminded of this most wonderful place.

Loved, loved, loved the Signal Inn! The main reason I first chose the Signal Inn was that I wanted to bring my dog with on our family vacation. Dogs are allowed in most of the rentals. However, the tikki style rental condos are spotless and do not look or smell like pets have been visiting, if you know what I mean. We all loved the accommodation - the layout and room to move around our two bedroom one bath unit was perfect. Great porch to watch the sunrise. For sunset we walked a short boardwalk to the beach. The pool was heated and our granddaughter has a great time swimming with us. No pets allowed in the pool though. Beautiful landscaping all around, and a nice roadway to a pet area for dog walks. The Signal Inn is very close to the local grocery store and shops, restaurants, etc. Since our plane only left later in the day the staff allowed us leave our luggage in a back office until we were ready to take a cab to the airport. I was even able to put my dog's special food in the staff refrigerator. A fantastic staff and a wonderful vacation. We WILL be returning to the Signal Inn.
