Sidney Yates Flatwoods - Nature preserve in Chicago - 6819 N Caldwell Ave, USA

It is one of my favorite areas of the forest preserve. The trail is still in good condition for walking/running and especially rollerblading with the longest amount of trail without street crossing.

Looks like a tight knit community park here which is good for many reasons. You can see a lot of houses around the park. I see a lot of runners and walkers, unlike some of the other parks Ive been too. Not many trees around this park. The park does look safe though. Looks like a spot for good gatherings because the parking lot is huge. I can picture a car club picnic going down here. Space big enough for soccer, football games, etc. The trails are paved for bicyclist, so thats awesome!

Great place for a stroll in the woods. Paved paths for walkers and cyclists, as well as a few nature trails through the woods you can follow

Great place to get away from the noise of the city, traffic, and fast pace of those around you. Walk, hike by the river, take a look at a few deer, and slow life down a bit.

So bad I saw deer die in road accidents no forest park department force monitoring please put there fancy bar 🙏 please go there

Awesome place, a nice escape and plenty of places to explore. Every time I’ve been there it has always been clean.
