They build things and don't keep them up. The park is falling apart. A huge hole in the so-called rock water feature that a child could fall in easily. Whoever is over the park should reevaluate their game plan on upkeep.
Huge fenced in park. Lots to do for children and plenty of options. Swings, slides, rock climbs, and ropes. Definitely worth the trip from the city if you need a new and exciting park for your kids. Some of the padded ground is busted up under one of the slides so just be careful in that spot. Shaded areas and seating with benches also. Thumbs up for sure!
When the weather is nice and there's no people, this is a pretty nice place to go walk. You can't really skate because the sidewalk is uneven. Can't really bike ride around it because of people on the side walk. Overall a pretty nice place to chill and have a beer on the park bench. When I was a kid a goose bit me on the leg in the north east corner of the park. I've mostly hung around the south side for the past 30+ years. No serious complaints. Might want to bring bug spray during summer. Lots of bird poop.
Absolutely beautiful Park. Lots of gazebos and personal space areas surrounding a duck pond. There is a skate park that appears to be pretty well kept up, and the people there seem to be nice. Very quiet and not full of a bunch of undesirables... Especially considering its proximity to a Walmart.
Excellent park! Always seems to be fairly well maintained. Cool little skate park, duck pond, and outdoor fitness space! Great place to take your kids for a few hours!
This is a nice park nestled in the middle Chalmette, LA, with a nice water area, walking path, and play areas for the kids. The local car enthusiasts do like to light the tires on the adjoining streets though.
With a 3 year old, we visit a lot of parks & I must say this one is one of the nicest! Pretty big with A lot of different things for kids to play on!

Love this place itâs always a Pleasant experience. You have a variety of things to choose from. Teas, Shakes, Coffee, or Hydration Drinks. Love that I can get a dry tea and take them out of town with me to have.
Nice local spot that's very clean and friendly. Nice married couple open this hidden gem . Had the pleasure to chat with the two few days ago while waiting on my order. The food is made fresh and has that home cook meal type of feeling. My family
I've been a member at Bravata for some time. Due to my schedule, I choose to work out very early in the morning so I rarely see any staff (which is okay), but this is what works for me. I'm happy to have a 24 hr facility very near my home. This is
Rocky and Carloâs is a family restaurant with great service that actually care about their customers and amazing tasting food that your mother might have made if your mother was an excellent cook. I loved this place.
Try the veal itâs amazing.
The atmosphere is very warm and inviting. The staff is extremely friendly. When you walk in you go to the counter to grab a menu and order what you like, pay and grab a seat. I had the Aquarius burger (no bacon) with an Iced latte. (It was my brunch,
Excellent battlefield, cemetery and monument. Plan to soend at least an hour here to go through the visitors center, a quick walk of the grounds and cemetery. You COULD spend a lot longer if history is your thang. It is all very interesting. Well l
I enjoyed my stayed here! From the moment I walked in, Trina was so welcoming! Check in was quick and easy, she also gave some recommendations on where to run and grab some food.
