Shucker's Oyster Bar - Restaurant in Ridgeland - 116 Conestoga Rd, USA

Shuckers is one of my favorite spots in the reservoir area. Almost every evening these a band playing except maybe Mondays. Saturday nights they get pretty packed. The food is not bad. The best thing to me is their fried shrimp and catfish. They have pizza but the crust could be better. The bayou pasta also could have been better as the menu said angel hair pasta but from my picture you can tell it’s not lol. Flavor was okay though. Shrimps are small and not deveined but also for 16 bucks which is probably the cheapest seafood pasta I’ve had. All in all great spot though. Never had any problems with the staff. Everyone is usually nice from the security to the bar staff.

Food is good but the Manager Bret and server Katie customer service is horrible. I just tried to order a meal I get all the time over the phone and was met with attitude. So I tried to come in and speak with a manager to get some clarity and more attitude and push back. I order the same meal everytime I eat here which is for both lunch and dinner. I always get onion rings as my side with the understanding that there is an up charge to do so for dinner. I told both of them that I was fine paying the up charge just place the order only for them to repeat that there is either an upcharge or it comes with fries. I showed the manager my receipt showing I was just her last week for dinner purchasing the same meal and was told they messed up because they were able to place my order properly. I ultimately left without purchasing anything because of the customer service and was actually told by the manager I should have stayed home simply because I was trying to give Shuckers my 20 dollars.

Amazing bands! Equally amazing oysters. See photo. You can always count on Shuckers. This place has only gotten better with time. Brent is a very cool guy. Nice changes to the already awesome patio. It’s the place!! Oh and I’d be negligent if I didn’t mention the fabulous Zoey. You’re awesome lady!!

They got great food. It’s a cool place to go to if you want food and to play some pool.. the staff was cool and keep you stocked up on drinks.

I'm giving five starts across the board for Anna!! She been our server every time we came and without her we may not have came back. She's amazing and represents perfection in customer service. And I speak from experience!! As a store manager I'd hote herein the spot at a supervisor position.

No complaints. Visited here on a Friday evening around 6. There was live music. Our waitress was sweet and helpful and our food was DELICIOUS. Apparently they've undergone a recent menu change, so I was disappointed that some items were missing. But there's still plenty to choose from.

Horrible service. Food was gross. Waitress lied about what came with what and was badly overcharged. Waitress refused to fix the check. I will not be returning or recommending. If you go, please avoid eating on patio and the tall blonde waitress with sores on her lips named Anna.

Nice atmosphere with great bar service from my experience got my drinks fairly quickly, access to pool tables was cool (watch out for da sharks) and the live band (Pop Fiction) / and whoever was DJ that night provided a great mix of fun and entertainment.
