We had a perfect stay at Shrew's house in the Kate's Retreat suite. The space is very well appointment and exceptionally clean. Breakfast each morning was set up outside which was an unexpected treat. Location is excellent and we never moved our car once we arrived. EVERYTHING is walkable from Shrew's House. Bruce was a lovely, warm, welcoming host and we hope to return again.

This B&B has incredible rooms, food and host. Bruce is warm and caring individual. He is well traveled around the world. He has incorporated the best of his own travel experience into the Shrew's House. Well located in town just short walk downtown. We stayed in October 2022 and will definitely return.

New owner, Bruce Hall, has updated a wonderful place to stay in Ashland that's walking distance to downtown. This B&B currently has 4 rooms and all have separate entrances. The rooms are beautifully decorated. All include mini-fridge, microwave, coffee-maker, and even kitchenware. Bathrooms are spacious and include toiletries.||Besides serving a light continental breakfast in the main house, Bruce will fill you up with interesting stories from his many prior careers. He is a very friendly and hospitable host.||We go to Ashalnd regularly, for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and we will make this our 1st choice for places to stay.

Our group couldn't believe our luck when we discovered this perfect B & B. We have been coming to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival for more than 25 years and have stayed in many places in Ashland, but the Shrew's House, under Bruce Hall's management, is head and shoulders above all the other places to stay. Bruce is a delight and did everything possible to make our stay pleasant. My wife and I stayed in the Garden Room, which we found to be immaculate, spacious, well-decorated, and comfortable. Rooms have a microwave and small refrigerator which is makes it convenient to prepare a light dinner before a show. We and the other couples in our group enjoyed sitting outside having our meals together, chatting, and enjoying the Shrew's House's lovely plantings. Best of all, the B & B is an easy walk to the theaters so we didn't have to worry about finding parking before the shows. If you usually stay in a B & B, don't miss staying at the Shrew"s House.

Shrew's House has been a favorite for some years, so when we heard it recently sold, we booked our recent stay with a tiny bit of concern. We have become friends with the previous owners. It was always as much about the hosts as it was about the accommodations that brought us back. We are happy to report that the new owner, Bruce Hall, is just wonderful and is approaching his new roll as innkeeper with competence and enthusiasm. Expect a few changes, but all good. So, Shrew's House is still our favorite, and we have a new friend. We are also happy that the previous owners can enjoy retirement and know that their regular guests will be happy with the this lovely B&B.

My wife and I stayed last week and we were very impressed. The hosts were happy to cater to small special requests (a pet-free cottage, breakfast delivered to our door to avoid the main house (because of said pet allergies). The weather was a bit chilly for a swim, but the pool looked inviting. A clean, quiet and pretty setting with parking and a short walk to historic and charming downtown Ashland. As a former resident of Ashland, I was very impressed. I would absolutely stay here again.

We were having a tough time finding a place for a one night stay and the hosts here were very helpful. The Ashland room was charming and offered a lot more privacy than many other B and B's. I have pet allergies and we normally look for pet free places. The hosts figured out a way around this issue by brining breakfast to our room. Location is also great, easy walk to tons of shops and restaurants and the Shakespeare Festival. All in all we were very happy with our stay.

Our host Bruce provided a quiet and comfortable stay in Ashland. Rooms are recently renovated - unique and lovely. Breakfasts were lovely. Located less than a 10 min walk from Oregon Shakespeare Festival and many wonderful downtown restaurants and shops. Supermarket is close for any extras you might want.

This theater is incredible. There's not a bad seat in the house. It's worth every penny to see shows here. We are seeing The Three Muskateers and it's a true gem. Wine and beer, popcorn and cookies are all sold inside and can be taken to your seat.
