Always loved these trails growing up! Awesome visit as of recent. Tons of huge trees

Large area to explore, beautiful trees, well kept trails

Walked the woods trail through a springtime old growth forest. Undergrowth was popping with flowers and greenery. In just a few weeks the towering tree canopy will shade most of the forest floor. Beautiful large trees in their natural state in this never cut section of forest.

I left feeling depressed… this is an old growth forest? It seemed all the big old trees are now big old logs… which is cool but there are no new trees that appear able to take their places.

Beautiful nature preserve!!! Lots of history

In need of "a breath of fresh air" as well as serenity? Pop by! You won't be sorry. Beautiful!

Very easy and nice 2 mile stroll through the woods.

Probably Fayette county's best kept secret.
