Showmars Stratford - Greek restaurant in Winston-Salem - 227 Harvey St Suite 227, USA

Located at the front of a strip mall near the main road. Ample parking, very clean establishment. Menu is a bit different because it offers multiple type of items, from burgers, fish & chicken sandwiches to Gyros and Greek. The girl at the counter was not to helpful when I asked what sides they had to go with the meal so I just said fries because everyone has those. The dining room has a good size seating area. The place was empty when I went. I got the Fish Sandwich, it was Meh…..no taste except for the tarter sauce, I could have used some hot sauce. I was not impressed. The chicken sandwich was a bit better as it had some flavor on the coating and was tender. Only problem is that it falls apart because it’s 3 pieces of chicken tenders with pickles am d Mayo. I still enjoyed it. I am giving it 3 stars for now until I try some of their other items. It’s a bit pricey as it was $20 for that fish meal with a drink and a plain chicken sandwich.

Food is excellent! Chicken is tender. The yogurt sauce is think and very tasty! They have very good service too! The staff there are very friendly!

The food is just ok. Gyro meat was dry, not much taste. Fries were nice & crispy, but again no flavor. The cashiers were very friendly. It is a little place. Plain & simple. Nothing that I would come back for.

It was ok. Service was good and restaurant looked spotless. I did the fried fish. Maybe if I'm in the area I will try a gyro instead.

Got the Gyros. They were dry and terrible. Only had about a tablespoon of Taziki sauce on the gyro. Will likely never order from here again. Expected better for a $12.50 lunch.

I have been here 3 different times. The fish sandwich amazing!y all time favorite item. Fish is fresh, moist and hot! The fries are amazing as well. Tarter sauce on that fish!!!! Awesome! The mini dinner shrimp with fries. Cheap and good. Although they are small shrimp they are not overpowered with a bunch of breading. Shrimp still had taste to it. Shomars shows out! Their fish sandwich is THEE best I've tasted in a while! The gyro was ok allergic to raw onions. It was loaded with them I removed them. The tzaziki sauce was ok not too much flavor with it. The Gyro was good though.

This one has been on my list to check out for a while. My husband and I stopped in here for lunch. It was not busy, the staff were very friendly and our food was brought out pretty quick. I had the Santorini Chicken Pita with a side of Greek pasta and my husband had The Original burger pita with a side of hummus and pita bread. They do give a generous amount of hummus. We really enjoyed our meals. Just slightly disappointed at the prices to upgrade into combos. But, I think everything has gotten more pricy not a days. Overall a good choice!

Food is ok, a step up from major fast food chains but that’s about it. Although the fish sandwich was good, Culver’s is distinctly better. The Mac and cheese was liquidy and disappointing. About as authentic as any other Greek diner that servers nothing that they eat in Greece. Counter service is fine and efficient as was the speed and cleanliness. Good overall but nothing to write home about.
