Showers Inn - Inn in Bloomington - 430 N Washington St, USA

This is the second time we have stayed here. This time was after a bb game and was so convenient. The inn is cozy and beautiful - the owners have kept all the charm of the 1903 home. Breakfast was artfully prepared and delicious. The off street parking is wonderful. We will be back!

Beautiful, nicely restored turn of the century former residence. Friendly and VERY helpful staff. Excellent breakfast… Nice neighborhood with easy walk to downtown eateries, attractions and campus. Lovely decor throughout the Inn. Amazing restored woodwork everywhere. Bed and bedding were comfortable, bathroom was well equipped with nice toiletries and good shower. Lovely outdoor seating spaces. Free off street parking. Will definitely stay again if travels bring us back to Bloomington❣️

Wonderful b&b. Service is excellent and staff is very friendly. Rooms are spacious, very clean, and well furnished. Location is just off the the main strip where many restaurants and bars can be found. Breakfast is exceptional. The hueveros rancheros and french toast were done perfectly. I would definitely like to return in the future.

I had a solo weekend stay for mom's weekend. Even in February, the grounds were pretty and well maintained. Indiana can be ugly this time of year. I loved that I could walk to most places where I met my son for meals, etc. You can easily walk to campus or the downtown square from here. The room was immaculate and appointed with everything one would need. The breakfast was speedy and very good. The place overall had a great vibe. I felt very safe on my own and would definitely stay here again in the future.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Everyone who works here is lovely. The house itself is very charming and on beautiful grounds with fountain and garden area. Breakfast is made to order and it’s awesome. Our room had original plumbing and claw foot tub (love!!!). We stayed here last summer and when in town again, will definitely stay here again.

The house is beautiful and centrally located. We were able to walk to dinner each night, and drive to the local winery to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The room was super clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and made to order. The only negative was that we paid for the balcony, but it wasn’t private. Anyone can technically use it (though there was a door from our room) and another room connects to it as well. It made us hesitant to enjoy it in the evenings in case our neighbors were sleeping. All in all, wonderful stay, and we will be back.

Really beautiful, elegant grounds and home(s). The owners have put a ton of money and care into this historic mansion and the neighboring bldgs.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Showers Inn! The reception staff was very welcoming. The breakfast team was equally accommodating and prepared a special meal for me due to my food allergies. I stayed in the De'Lovely room and used the room to take a virtually proctored exam. The room was cozy, quiet, and peaceful. I would gladly stay again!
