Show Ramen - Authentic Japanese restaurant in La Verne - 1263 Foothill Blvd, USA

I placed my order, and it was expected to be finished by 6:00 pm, but it was an extra 30 minutes before I received my food. That was disappointing. I ordered the Spicy Tonkotsu Miso, and the broth was not all that spicy or flavorful. There was not much meat, and the meat was not flavorful, and it was kind of rough. I also had an order of stuffed jalapeños, and those were good, but the ones at Show Sushi are much better. Overall, for the price, lack of flavor, and poor time management, I am not sure I will return.

This is actually a ramen place that also serves Japanese sushi. I tried the tonkatsu miso ramen. The broth is not bad and the egg noodles was bit more of the Chinese variety. You get a full egg that was soft boiled and seasoned. I think they should offer up more condiments and pickled sides without extra charge. $16++ will come up to $21 ramen per person which is on the high side. It look like 2 people were running the restaurant which had more than 10 tables. I wonder if they can handle a full load of customers during peak times.

Food was just okay. Ramen broth did not have the richness and full bodied flavor that you look for. Broth also lacked seasoning. Chashu was pretty dry and noodles were overcooked. The ambience was very nice, prices are fair, the store itself is clean, and portions aren’t too small. The table next to us only got non ramen items and they expressed their satisfaction with their food. Regarding service, there is only one waitress and though she tries her best, she’s easily overwhelmed if there are more than 3 tables seated. Food took a solid 35 minutes to come out. Hopefully these issues will be resolved once their staffing issues are addressed.

Read other reviews and decided to try show ramen. They have outdoor dining and takeout. I ordered the beef ramen, shumai, and got a surprise chef special as a bonus freebie. Everything was delicious. Will definitely be coming back. Also they have a 20% off going on.

Freshest Ramen I have ever tasted! The broth is astounding and the atmosphere is great. The staff is friendly and you must try their pork ramen! Their appetizers are delicious like their takoyaki. The price is reasonable and it's a great spot to fuel up during lunch or dinner. Vegetarian options are available and amazing too!

The best Sushi I had in La Verne. Used to be student at ULV now moved to Boston. Missing everything there and will come back next time for sure. Chef Henry was a brilliant master I would say !

Okay so let me start off by saying that I am a Ramen connoisseur I be in that almost every ramen restaurant you can think of throughout Ave Riverside Orange County Santa Monica you name it so when I heard there was a place in town that claim to be Japanese ramen I said I got to try this place. Well first of all the place was nice for those of you who are looking for a Statics. The staff there was very friendly but unfortunately it was just two of them for the whole restaurant on a Sunday afternoon that didn't make sense to me at all it took them forever to even clean a table for example the table right next to me was dirty and had a bunch of dishes we were seated and about 20 minutes later they finally started cleaning up the table next to us that wasn't very pleasant looking at half-eaten bowls and having food left on the table so that's the reason for the one star drop. The reason I didn't give them a second star was because it took forever to get our food you could see everybody looking around trying to hunt down one of the poor staff to find out when their food was coming so needless to say the feeling in the air wasn't very pleasant. Now down to the food this is the reason they got good reviews in my opinion the ramen was tasty and the noodles were cooked very well despite the long wait considering they had three to four people in the kitchen again doesn't make sense to me but the food was delicious and I think if they hired more staff they would definitely have a better review from me and of course it doesn't take that long to do Ramen SO waiting 20 minutes for it was a bit too much. So all in all I think I would recommend this place if you're a patient person and you like friendly staff then yes try this place out I think you will like it.

Love their Ramen and the also have good sushi as well. The staff is nice and friendly which makes for an enjoyable meal
