ShouFi MahFi Mediterranean Grill - Middle Eastern restaurant in Orlando - 8379 S John Young Pkwy, USA

We were on a pleasure visit to Florida and wanted to try a Mediterranean food. This restaurant reviews on google were 4.9 out of 5 which made my expectations high as sky. So we came in and ordered Beef kabob platter, lamb kabobs platter, cheese pie, and chicken shawarma. The lamb kabobs were really good, juicy and tender. The beef on the other hand were dry and flavorless. Chicken shawarma was on ok side. Cheese pie was also just ok. The rice given to us were white rice and I have seen it rarely seen white rice in Mediterranean food. Also they charged us extra for not paying on cash. I seriously don’t understand this mentality of small businesses, first they want customers to support them and then they charge customers without informing them on something that is very common across US. I mean who keeps cash in their pocket nowadays. Anyways not a restaurant I would like to come back. Just ok experience for me. Flavor - Star - 6 / 10 Authenticity of Flavor - No Star - 5 / 10 Cleanliness - Star - 6 / 10 Service - No Star - 5 / 10 Value for Money - No Star - 5 / 10 Suggestion for owner: man you have a good business, please stop charging customers for using credit card. Also try to make beef as good as lamb. Suggestion for customer: take cash with you if you want to save three percent on bill. Above format would be best to justify my review so i will hopefully continue to keep this for all my next reviews.

Great low-key but delicious Mediterranean place! Wife and I got the Chicken Shawarma Platter and Falafel Platter which were both tasty including the sides. Tahini was not bitter at all and falafels tasted really fresh.

Loved the mixed grill platter. Not only was it delicious, but it did hit the spot. Quality and quantity were great. I'll definitely be back soon.

Good flavor but the portions are small for the price, the beef was a thin layer spread over some white rice and advertised jasmine rice but was not jasmine rice, also the side of falafel was stale, I ordered the beef shawarma over rice.

I visited this restaurant on my husband's recommendation to try the Kofta burger he so enjoys. I must say, the experience was excellent with great food. I tried their falafel, and it is now my second favorite place for falafel. The quality and taste were outstanding.

Please stay away from this place. I usually order from this place, but this time everything was different. The quality of the food was not up to standard. I order hot sauce and it was mixed with ketchup plus I was charged for it , I paid with my card realized they charged 4% for using my credit card. The prices were double than usual, the food quality worse than before I wouldn’t recommend it.

Great experience and kind service while eating lunch with my family. The interior was kinda quiet but business picked up around lunchtime. This was our first experience and the food was great very fresh and delicious. Thank you for a great meal. Best Regards.

Small, but cozy dining area. The front end person, Bilaal, was super nice and suggested the Kefta Beef, as I was between that and the Chicken Shawarma. I have never had Kefta, and it had great flavor, but I feel like it was over-cooked because it was very dry! The rice is cooked to perfection and the falafel are great, as well. The hummus was super smooth and flavorful enough. I would try this place again! If you have cash, use it- they have a 4% up charge for cards.
