First, I’d like to say that our server, Vanya, was absolutely incredible and when I got home and looked at the receipt I realized I did not tip her enough for her great service. I promise I’ll make up for it! She was beyond accommodating and attentive. The decor is a retro diner and is perfect for the feel. They do have a few booths and otherwise it is chairs and tables. Seating is a bit crowded but that’s because so many people enjoy this place! Our food came out hot and flavor was on point. Portions are normal to large. Prices are extremely reasonable. My best friend was so happy I showed her this place today and next time in the area, I will be going back.

Shorty's, located in an old Pizza Hut restaurant, has done a great job creating a diner feel with classic diner furniture and some old nick-nicky toys. When we entered we were greeted by a smiling server and seated at a table. Despite being busy, our server was always smiling. I was a disappointed by the pancakes, but I prefer a lighter, fluffier pancake. I ordered the blueberry pancakes, which I found a dollop of blueberry compote on top and some blueberries cooked inside. Even with blueberries I found it not very flavorful and pretty dense. Eggs were cooked perfectly to order. My companion ordered the Breakfast potatoes and felt they were a bit undercooked. Bacon was a bit on the salty side. Although I gave atmosphere and service a higher rating, overall I still gave it a 3 as I don't think I would go back based on the food. Bathroom: Classic old school bathroom with 2 metal stalls, one of which was quite small/tight. I do not recall a baby changing area - if it's across from the sink, it would be a very tight situation.

Shorty’s was a 10 out of 10 for us! My kids said if they could leave more than 5 stars they would. We loved the vibe at Shorty’s, our server was wonderful, and everyone was helpful from the moment we stepped in the door. The food was fantastic. Eggs perfectly cooked, absolutely giant and perfect pancakes, a great sized & tasting kids burger with fries, delicious biscuit and gravy, and the very best omelette I’ve ever eaten. The Cuban Omelette is a superstar menu item.

Food was generously portioned, staff was great. It was very busy when we went (Sunday at ten) so I'll be picking a different time when I go again, but I'll absolutely be going again. My picture is of the hangover and of the sampler platter. Everything was yummy!

Great breakfast option if you’re in the Williamsburg area. Williamsburg is known for having the most pancake houses per capita, but Shorty’s continues to make itself a top breakfast/brunch choice among the many options. The menu has a great variety and they don’t hold back with portions. The service is great and the waiters/waitresses truly give it a diner feel with their hospitality. The prices are decent as well, so your belly should be full along with your wallet! I recommend the Shorty’s special if you have any trouble deciding.

Very fast pace Great food and extremely well priced. Great service and tasty meal. The building is small and was extremely busy not a table was left empty but the wait was short and they kept the meals rolling. The location is in front of a small shopping center with way more parking than the building could possibly hold So don't worry about parking 😉

This is a busy diner, and the staff sure hustles. This was a first-time visit for us, based on many positive reviews. To the food, hubby ordered the hot Pastrami and Swiss on rye toast, and he said it was really good. This came with 1 side. He chose the potato salad and said he could have made a meal out of that. I was not so fortunate, ordered the 1/4lb burger-rare, and the server assured me it would not be a problem. It arrived with the top of the bun on the side, great! I took 1 bite, and well, guess what! It was well done! The fresh cut fries ( a generous portion) were showing signs of age, warm and becoming tough, and gummy. After trying to locate her, I asked another employee to please send her to our table. She was back with us a few minutes later. I asked her to check the burger, and she agreed, it was well done. She took the entire order back and emphatically told the cook RARE. Here comes a fresh order a while later. And well done again. The fries were better. Which is what I ended up having for lunch. I now know what not to order. The coffee was good. Have to admit. Also, it took a long time to get our check. May or may not return. If it weren't for the burger fiasco, I would have given 5 stars. I hate to send meals back. It completely disjointed the visit when you were waiting and the other finished.

Had a great breakfast with the country ham biscuit and grits. Can’t wait to go back and try the chicken and waffles. Everything was great all around. Thank you

Very good place for family style lunch. Very generous serving for the price! The meatloaf was a little disappointing, but maybe because we're not used to the regional seasoning. The ribs were deliciously soft and delectable. Would highly recommend

A local suggested this restaurant to me while professing her love for their country ham biscuits. Once I learned how to cut the flat biscuits correctly (slice in half so they're almost like a cracker) I really enjoyed it. The grits were just ok, but

Top notch gym. The group of trainers they have are the best in the game. I HATE running but the trainers are so good at saying the right things at the right moments to get me through it. Front desk staff is awesome, especially Stephanie. The owners a
