Shores Terrace - Motel in Pompano Beach - 819 N Ocean Blvd, USA

I spent almost 2 years here! Norman… one of the owners is one of the most trusted individuals I have ever met! He will help out any one who is going through a tough time! I initially started coming here on and for the work that I perform…since May of 2018.. Norman has gone more and beyond to make my stay here at Shores Terrace very comfortable and I thank you Norman for that and I thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Now this used to be one of my favorite places in Florida and I had made many memorable memories here. I've also spent thousands upon thousands of dollars here and became very well acquainted with the owner who most recently turned his back on me and treated me like a begging Street beach just because of his workers being haters. Like I said I've given thousands upon thousands of dollars to this individual over the years staying here and he is acting like I can't even be on the grounds now for no good reason. The power trip and egotistical presentation that he permeates now must be a result of his years of inactive mental activity and boring life in general, and which he has developed a jaded miserable one-sided view of anything that not in his realm of understanding. I'm disappointed in you man, you forget how you made it here and the hundreds of thousands of dollars you made off this hotel you think you'd be a little more cheered up in your life in general. Your hotel is a high price s******* and I say that is it in a good way as that is the charm that it had so don't pretend like you're running some sort of Richie Rich Carlton type of place because you're not and that's the beauty of it.

Did not feel safe while staying here, rooms were filthy, staff were rude & looked at me with a grin on their face. The people next to us & below us were fighting all night. Over all I did not feel safe while staying here. Definitely will not be going back.

Great price, thats about it. when I made reservations it said had 1 king bed, 2 double beds, and 2 pullout sofa. Got there no king bed. Microwave didn't work, no mop or broom. Had to go to dollar tree to get one. Shower had a greasey film on the walls. Office was not open the whole time we was there. Found keys on top of the Microwave. Mind you she showed us the apartment before I gave her my info, which they already had charged us for 1 day.

The room was very dirty. Walls, floors, shower, bed, couch. We told them the room needed cleaned and the bedding was gross and they just took the sheet off and left us without one. Then we found out our window was broken with nothing covering the hole. It was not worth the money. The only good thing was it was close to the beach.

I stayed here this Easter weekend with my family after my Reservation for another hotel was accidentally booked. Clear to say that this was my first and last time staying at this "resort". The hotel is VERY dated, that did not bother me as much, but when I had to sleep in 3 different rooms over a three night stay then something is wrong. My first night was ok. I overlooked the mold in the bathroom and the fact that 2 out of the 4 burners on the stove were damaged. The following day I was promised the same room but was given another room with a broken table where my dinner almost fell to the floor, and an AC to that did not cool, when I spoke to the manager he stayed that it was strange because no previous guest had complained. He has someone bring me a fan because he claimed there were no more rooms 5 minutes later he called me stating I could move to another room that seemed to have appeared out of no where . When I moved to the room it smelled like a smoke house (and this is a no smoking hotel) I let the manager know and all I was promised was the cleaning ladies would clean it. I had to go out and spend my own money on Feb reeve and candles just so I can sleep in that room. When it came time to shower , the shower did not even have a head nor did it drain properly. I was so tired of this place that I was gone before the sun came up and I will never return here again. these reviews that are positive are VERY misleading . The rooms are not cleaned properly nor are they nice. For the price they want a bit.to charge they should at least put some of that money towards buying new shower curtains and updating a bit.
