Shore Meadows Lodge, LLC - Motel in Lake George - 22 Lake Ave, USA

We had an amazing stay! Such great value for what you get. The property has its own beach with a fire pit, grills, Adirondack chairs. It’s a perfect location with all of town walkable. The unit we were in had its own kitchen and two cute chairs on the front porch for us to sit out and drink coffee with a lake view. So relaxing. The staff went above and beyond. They were all so friendly and always making sure we were comfortable with our stay. Jared in particular did a great job. We will definitely be back!

We had an amazing stay at the Shore Meadows Lodge. We were on a family trip with a large group of friends. This was a perfect spot for family’s. Located right on the lake, with kayaks and paddle boats to rent. There is a pool, that great for the kids to splash in. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Love the Kitchenette with table and chair. The staff work around the clock to keep the grounds tidy and clean. Love the fire pits for s’mores with the kids. The location is great, within walking to the down town area, and restaurants. We hope to come back next year!

Great location, great cabins with all sorts of arrangements, super attentive staff (during the somewhat limited front desk operating hours, but over the phone at other times). Kayak rentals are fun, beach is great for kids, and so is the pool. Convenient walking distance to all of the town of lake George's activities, while relatively quiet. Great stay!

We were a bit disappointed in our stay. The location is great, the rooms were very clean but it didn't really make up for the negatives of our room. First of all, the mattresses were really poor quality, extremely unsupportive with broken edges. The beds also seemed like they were about to break. The bathroom, while very clean, was very 1985 with a small, narrow tub/shower combo. The shower head was below the top of my head and I'm 5'8. Finally, the room fans were very loud and the lake was further from us than expected. Its also very dark in the room with limited lighting. Sadly, our neighbor was smoking (it's a non-smoking property) which we didn't complain about to the management so that's on us, but we couldn't keep our windows open. Overall, it's an inexpensive motel at a moderate hotel price. I wouldn't steer you completely away as it seems clean and well managed, but be aware of the bed issues.

Will definitely be coming back for my next trip to Lake George. Short distance walk to town, private beach, clean rooms, what else can you ask for? Jared and his team were amazing. Very attentive and helpful. Accommodated my check-in time, answered all my questions, and even provided us a lighter and paper late at night for a fire! It made all the difference during my stay. Perfect spot to land on Lake George. Cabins are clean and well maintained - do your research or call and ask for best fit for your family they are all a little different. Staff is excellent, friendly + attentive. Private beach is great with chairs, loungers and gazebo and the view of the lake is spectacular. Kayak rentals were fun. Short walk to all the amenities downtown. Would stay again and great for large groups too all looking for stay on the same property!

Perfect location. Rooms have kitchenette and very roomy with patio and chairs to have coffee in morning. Walkable to village. Property is very private with a great lawn leading down to a fire pit and private beach. Great place for family and children. Stunning views of the lake and mountains. The help are top shelf. The manager Jared is always available and goes above and beyond with customer service. This place is a gem.

Loved staying here for two nights. We may not be the typical Lake George visitors (stopped in this town for convenience) but we appreciated the little details in our room - based on a log cabin/woodsy theme. Not "modern" but really comfortable. As hikers we also appreciated the great advice given to us by staff of some great local hikes that offered spectacular views of the lake and area. Also this place extends all the way to lake and has various water-based options available and a lovely screened gazebo. Easy walk to restaurants. Just felt more genuine than most of the stuff in this town.
