We were there for only a couple of day in the slow season. Place was clean perfect location to the beach only 1 block away. The owners extremely nice and accommodating. Would not hesitate to go back there.
I am usually a big fan of this hotel. It is convenient and cost efficient. But I was very unhappy with my last stay. I was on the second floor and there was carpet. There shouldn't be carpet at a beach hotel! Also the bed skirts were so stained, they should have been thrown in the trash. The wood bathroom door was peeling and the lamps were rusted. This room definitely needs updating! I did complain at check out and he just stared at me. I am not sure if I'll return.
Had a wonderful stay at the Shore Haven Resort Inn. Flew down to Florida for a hockey game, and found the location was great. Nice and quiet with a lot of amenities and beach within walking distance. The management were very helpful and always made time for me. Would highly recommend this location when visiting Fort Lauderdale.

My mom and I enjoyed our stay at ShoreHaven. The location is perfect: close to lots of shops, restaurants and the beach. Beautiful pool! Rooms are a bit dated but clean and comfortable. Owners are very nice.
Fantastic location, super clean rooms & amazing service. Arguably, the best value hotel in the area with a stellar location. In addition, the owners are beyond nice and accommodating! Definitely coming back.
Excellent location to beach, Dunkins and CVS, Publix market . The pool is clean and they have grills to cook sosos close to the beach. Kitchen in our room too. A little dated but to me it's the charm of that old school Fort Lauderdale feeling.
The hosts (Arthur and parents) as well as the cleaning team was incredibly accommodating. They even upgraded us upon arrival. The room was spacious, the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. Towels were available as many as needed, only needed to ask. The cleanliness of the room was not so great, but the location and friendly people made up for it. Lovely atmosphere, also with the other tenants. Very warm, social and nice. There was a heated + non-heated pool plus a jacuzzi, which our kids used intensely. Also, the beach is literally 3 minutes away. Parking was free!

It is a great beach with a local vibe. It is not very crowded or touristy. There is limited parking which is a plus when you are looking to avoid crowds. It is clean and well maintained.
Shop has plenty to look at , great for beach Go'ers. Owner is super Curtious and helpful! Very nice trinkets for those stopping through town. Got some nice Keychains for the wife and kid!
Very old resort, but very clean. Furnishings were good. Location is great. Many restaurants within walking distance. Caters to an older crowd, which was great for us. We will return to this resort in the future.
