Food could have been a little More fresh. , maybe it was the last serving before lunch crowd. Just wasn't overly impressed. The catfish and the bacon however, were very good. Some of the other items just been sitting too long. I'll be back , for a second chance at some point. The service was good from all the staff. Friendly throughout.
Had the Sunday afternoon senior buffet special for $9.00 something each. Half the buffet was breakfast foods at 4pm in the afternoon. The few items available were always empty and you waited for food to be brought out. The only meat available was fried chicken and chicken and dumplings while we were there. We'll never return here for a buffet meal again.
My son and I dropped in starved half to death lol. The service was great! They Kept the drinks full and checked on us several times. Buffet was really good with a salad bar as well. Love the lemon juice bottle! Will definitely be back!
It had been awhile since I had been to this shoney's and they did not disappoint!! The food was fresh (to be fair they were very busy) the bar stayed full! They have done a little freshening up in the dining room and it looks so much nicer. We had a very delightful server...her name was Leah and she was such a good server!
Was inside waiting to be seated at 10:50 am, for my husband a Veteran to get his free meal. The free meal was til 11:00 am. There was 4 groups of people in front of us, so we were seated, and we were told at the register he could not get his free meal, because the ticket had 11:20 time on it. Now we got in the restaurant, waited for 3 different sets of people to be seated, the person who seated us was not the waitress, and the waitress did not print our ticket at the table, when we ordered. Honestly this is the first time we have waited, or went back for the free meal. I am very disappointed with this patron, and you can bet that I will never step foot in that restaurant again. I knew we should have went to IHOP, If I would have been standing there and saw a veteran treated like this. I would have paid for his meal myself. And that's what I did. I treated my husband the Veteran to his free meal
Fast seating. The sausage links had a funny taste 2 them,sausage patties weren't fully done,the pancake syrup tasted old....Really wasnt worth the price paid. This was from the breakfast bar. I'm not sure that I would go there again and eat. Specifically not the bar for that price and the food not great. For 2 people it was $33.00.
So I haven't been to Shoney's in many many years, and I don't know why. It was really yummy 😋. I gotta say I waited a long time waiting to be seated, almost left. And that would've been my last time there. I'm glad I waited around. I also thought it was expensive. Being it was only half a buffet for breakfast. The other half was salad bar. Honestly can't figure that one out 🤷♀️. Maybe lunch next, I don't know
Had not been here in years. They did not disappoint. The bbq chicken was FANTASTIC. If you want lemon in your water, no fear of lemon peels as the put lemon juice in containers for you to pour in the water. We will be back!!!
