Shoney's - Maryville - American restaurant in Maryville - 1021 W Lamar Alexander Pkwy, USA

We had a delicious meal tonight. The store was very festive with a beautiful woodland Christmas tree up front. 🎄 My husband had the buffet. I ordered a hamburger steak with grilled onions and mushrooms. While waiting for my food I ate some hot vegetables and beef cabbage soup which was included with my meal. Our server was very attentive. She wore a Christmas Shoney's shirt which I thought was neat. The bar was beautifully maintained. I would highly recommend this location.

We hadn't planned on going to Shoney's. In fact, the place we wanted was packed so this was our backup. It's been years since we ate at one. The restaurant was clean and the server was attentive and kind. At 12.99 for the buffet plus 2.99 for soda or coffee, it's a $16 breakfast. There's no way we ate that much. The eggs were super soft, the bacon burned to a crisp and thrown into a pan so they remained soaked in grease. The sausage fell apart and there was no jelly that I saw for my biscuit. I guess I was only supposed to put gravy on it. My wife and I both got a sour stomach afterwards. And I'm on meds that keep that from happening. Hope you like '50s music because that's all they play. I should have gone with the local restaurant but I was hungry and they had a 30 minute wait. I should have waited.

Being from South GA, some things are a little different than I'm used to, but as always, everything was good. Just missed having a little pepper sauce though. It's a staple on almost every restaurant around where I'm from.

Oh man. The best French toast sticks I've ever had! I'm pretty sure they deep fry those babies in deliciousness. Get em hot and fresh and they melt in your mouth! Mmm We did the all you can eat breakfast buffet (a go-to best option when you have toddlers) and not only was momma happy with the food, but the kids were too! I really liked how they had a small salad bar available even with breakfast. Great way to get kids their veggies in when there's cucumbers available. Fruit was yummy too. Place was packed but the service was great. Will definitely be coming back!

We have not eaten at a Shoneys in many years. They all went bust in our area. We always liked their brunch bar as you can get fresh salads, breakfast or lunch food at the same time. It fits all the requirements. This location was very nice and our waitress, I think her name was Jane, was exceptional. She was very attentive and answered several questions about the Maryville area.

Clean restaurant and fresh food, wife ordered All American at 7:30 am. Onions rings were great with the burger. My breakfast bar plate was hot and fresh. Started with a salad and it’s was great as well. 👍

Ashley provided excellent service. The steak that I had was a little grizzly but overall the food tasted good. Just a nice place to go to sit down, have a nice dinner and relax.

I couldn't eat any of the food because it wasn't edible, it tasted like carboard. And by any of the food i mean all of the food. I still payed for my meal, but had to drive elsewhere to pick some breakfast up. Our waitress also had an attitude problem after asking her to bring some straws to the table. She was very snappy about it. I will definitely not recommend or come back.
