I grew up going to Shoney's and still absolutely love it to this day! It's a shame they've closed most of them down. We have to drive 30 mins to the nearest one now. 🥺 But this one in Morgan City is totally awesome!!! Staff is always Awesome!!! To this day, they still capture the All-American Classic Shoney's atmosphere and Amazing food! Love it!!!!💯💯💯💯 Breakfast Bar is Always and will Always be the BEST EVER!!! Y'all deserve 5++++++ Stars! Love y'all!!!
I ordered a slice of strawberry pie to go. It’s clear they didn’t have a pie ready so they pulled out a frozen pie shell and opened a can of strawberry preserves. Poured the strawberries on the shell and put whip cream on it. I’m on the road so I can’t go back. But damn. Come back at me while I’m waiting and tell me they 86’d strawberry pie and give me my money back or offer another desert. I paid $7 for this
To be clear, my childhood memories of Shoney's will cloud this review. I have fond memories of the restaurant chain as a child. It was always a treat to come. Having eaten at this location recently, I now realize the food is not the greatest. The interior of the restaurant was clean, service was good and there was plenty of parking in front. I recommend this to everyone. I look forward to coming back if I am in the area again.
On our way to Jefferson island. Stopped to eat a wholesome meal Good fresh salad and fried fish but there is lots more. Wish we still had Shoney’s in Houma !!!!

I've always loved their breakfast buffet, can't go wrong with it,our only one still locally (in Morgan City). worth the drive, staff was friendly and delightful, clean atmosphere,a wonderful experience this Sunday Funday
It was shoney's as i remembered. We got there about an hour after they opened. Some of the food was not very hot, but as we ate, they brought out more hot and fresh food. It was great! Staff was very friendly. Our waitress was attentive and kept our drinks full. The cashier was nice and polite also. Probably 10 years since I ate at a shoney's, but i will eat here again when I'm in the area.
It cost $40.00 for 2 breakfast bars and 2 coffees and 1 coke, wasn't expecting the prices to be so high, the food was good and the coffee was great, but not worth $40.00, first and last time I am eating there.
Nice play area for kids of all ages During Christmas they have lights set up in the park! Great place to walk at desk or after dark with the kids to see the lights.

Crispy/ juicy chicken, warm buttery rolls, real rice dressing aka dirty rice and the fam loves the gizzards and liver! We always stop at least once each visit! Great customer service too!
