Shogun Steakhouse - Japanese restaurant in Farmville - 707 N Main St, USA

Went for my moms birthday and everything was great! We are repeat visitors and this is definitely a great spot!! Fresh sushi, cheese wontons are amazinggg and the sauces they give you for everything to dip are delicious!

My partner and I went to Shogun on a Wednesday evening for dinner around 5pm and we appeared to be the only ones there. We were seated right away and waited on in a timely manner. We got California Rolls and cheese wontons for appetizers and they were absolutely delicious! They provided soup and salad with the hibachi dinner as well. (There was plenty of food!) I got the shrimp and chicken and my partner got the chicken and steak with fried rice. The fried rice was a little bland, but the rest of the dinner was so good that it didn't matter. The service was excellent! We had Michael as our waiter and he was very kind, patient, and attentive. The place itself was beautiful and we very much enjoyed our experience. We will definitely be going again soon!!

Amazing service, fresh and delicious food! This is an in between casual and fine dining priced restaurant. We were served generous portions and our food cane out quickly. This could be a great place for a romantic diner, 1st date, anniversary, or even just a casual dinner.

Went with a party of 4. Sushi was good. Salad and soup were good. Service was adequate. 3 of us ordered chicken hibachi, and I ordered chicken and steak. The meats were prepared excellently - however - there was minimal taste to the fried rice, chicken or steak and that was a big negative. Every Japanese steakhouse I've been to has really good seasoning/sauce that the meats are coated with. This one was prepared great, but pretty much very bland. Had to dip it in soy sauce to get some flavor on it to eat. I really didn't want to leave a 3 star review but the total lack of any flavor to the meat was a deal breaker. The fried rice was also very bland, and I had to put a lot of soy sauce on that as well to get flavor to make it palatable. It's a real shame because the meals were prepared excellently but the main dishes were bland...

If you’re looking for a delicious meal with relaxing background music, then I recommend trying Shogun Steakhouse in Farmville. We enjoy ourselves there and often will go on Sundays for the Chicken Hibachi special. The food portions are very generous, and the quality of food there is very commendable.

All of the food was good. You don't leave hungry . The waitress was great too. Don't forget always tip your waitress in cash.

We arrived close to closing of the lunch hour but were promptly seated and served. The establishment is very refined, which was very unexpected judging from the outside. The food is cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is exquisite. We can't wait to return!

This was our first time at this restaurant and we really enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere! You really get your money's worth here because of the amount of food they serve, we had to get a to-go box for each of our plates. The dining area is very clean and eloquently decorated. I highly recommend this nice restaurant!
