Absolutely blown away by Chef Scholly and Chef Brooke’s work, we had an amazing experience and drove a long way just to try these highly anticipated entrees and they did *NOT* disappoint!
Our server Jackie was so sweet and so very accommodating, we left full and inspired. They have truly gone the extra mile for us and made sure our experience was a 12/10 visiting from out of town. We have full intentions of returning again and again just to make a stop at Shoemakers.
You absolutely have to try the lamb shank, recommended by Chef Brooke. It was succulent and full of flavor, everything was absolutely delectable and carefully crafted.
Even the cocktails were 10/10! The caramel apple tart and Good Things Come in Pears martini was an excellent way to finish out the evening.
Don’t walk, RUN to Shoemakers!!
Chef Schölly is an absolute magician! We tried the new fall menu tonight & were absolutely blown away. The octopus appetizer was the freshest tasting seafood! Service was phenomenal & personable. Absolutely worth a visit, couldn't recommend it more. If you are looking for an incredible experience look no further!
I expected to receive amazing food, service, and atmosphere. I had gotten everything I expected it would be, and I thank chef Ed for the amazing food with amazing service from Pam and Auna! You all were wonderful and can’t wait to come back! I encourage everyone to check this place out, you don’t want to miss out!
Chef Schölly and his staff are incredible as always. We enjoyed a few different dishes from their new menu including the charred octopus the pork shoulder croquettes, the suggested pairing of wine and ribeye by one of the managers Ethan was exquisite. We ended our night with a new personal favorite, the Chocolate Pot de Créme. Go try some of their new menu options!
My husband and I had dinner with friends to celebrate our anniversary. We had a magical evening! Our server was wonderful and didn’t miss a beat. I highly recommend the grilled octopus. It was phenomenal. The lamb shank was perfect as well. If you’re looking for a beautiful dining experience, this is the place to go.
Filet was delicious and perfectly cooked, as were the crispy Brussel sprouts and crab cake. The detail and flavors of each dessert were unique and incredible taste. Chef Schölly and the staff took such great care of us.
We enjoyed a delicious meal and exceptional service at Shoemakers!
I love how they have transformed the existing historic brick factory architecture into refined dining decor with shoe-themed art and memorabilia.
It was a fantastic and favorite dining experience!

My wife and I recently had dinner at Shoemakers . The evening started off with great promise as the Hostess was very friendly and welcoming. It was downhill from there. We sat close to 15 minutes before our server came to our table. The service throughout the meal was very slow. She did bring us some wonderful bread and butter. The salads were small and very unimpressive. My wife ordered the Artichoke Mushroom Risotto it was good, but the portion was very small. I ordered the Braised Bison, and it was good with a nice size portion. It was a long wait between salads and our dinner. The meal was expensive for the slow service and small portions. It is very unlikely we will eat there again.
Went with a friend for a birthday lunch and this place was just special enough to really make our day! The atmosphere is modern but cozy while the food selections felt diverse without overwhelming. The actual flavors were good and in the case of my s

So, this was the third place I went to after moving to Lynchburg from N.J. Let me say how I wished it was my First, from the atmosphere to the Food and not to mention the Fantastic Bartenders, that make you feel do welcome! If you come alone or with
