Shiras Park - Park in Marquette - N Lakeshore Blvd, USA

Gorgeous sunrise for morning coffee. We were just passing through but stopped for coffee and breakfast at the beach, dog loved it and there were others there with coffee to watch sunrise. Lighthouse and maritime museum nearby.

Superior truly is the best of the Great Lakes. This is a decent place if you don't mind tourists during the summer. Typically there is more parking here than elsewhere and the beach is just a quick walk either way. I tend to park here during high-tourist times for that reason.

Nice beachfront park. Good scenery. Good beach. Playground. Rest rooms. Ample parking.

Beautiful spot to explore the waters edge. Rocks to climb on and explore. There is a playground for children to play. The skateboard park is near by as well as other sites to see.

I visited Shiraz park on a run- it was a pretty park with a rocky lakeside and a nice children's playground. There is a paved bike/walking path that goes through the park and connects to downtown Marquette and the Iron Ore Heritage Trail. There are bathrooms (they a bit dirty). I would recommend visiting this area in the fall! Lovely bright leaves and cool air off the lake.

Beautiful park overlooking shore line in Marquette. Could sit and listen to waves crashing on shore.

Beautiful area!!

Not a good place to swim but it was nice to just park and watch the water and the water traffic. Also had a playground for children adjacent to it. And the walking and biking trail went right past it on the same side. Good parking and good sightseeing of lake Superior and the outcropping rocks in the water.
