Been coming here since I was a kid, there’s plenty of Shirley’s around but this one is the best. I love the ham and cheese kolache and there donuts are the best when warm just ask. The coffee with flavor creamer is great also.
They serve old leftovers after 11, don't bother giving them money. I used to come to this location years ago and it was the best donut shop in town. Now, anytime you ask for something, they don't have it. They force you into buying stuff you don't want by not cooking anything new for the final few hours. The kolaches, when you *do* get them, have been small and dense lately instead of big and fluffy, like the original owners made it so long ago. It's not worth the money, assuming they even let you buy one.
Excellent donuts and solid coffee! I have had Shipley’s over the course of almost four decades, in Houston and Dallas. They are the best in the nation in my opinion. I’ve been to this location 2-3 times and it’s always wonderful. The young lady who helped me this morning is a genuine, hardworking, and kind soul. She made my day! She made sure I had everything and got me on my way. Also, the donuts are a work of art…See the pic!
Workers were out of it and didn't pay attention to orders. Had to say 3 times what I wanted and still didn't get it. Wasn't worth going back in for a bear claw
GF options are lacking here and I wish they had more than just drinks for me now. I used to come here a lot to get their Old Fashioned Cinnamon rolls, which were my all time favorite, but now I can't eat them because I'm medically advised to be GF. I would love to come back if they decide to add some GF options.
The raised donuts were fantastic and the experience was amazing. The cake donuts were a little dry, and the service seemed sub par to say the least .....
I've been going there for almost 50 years (my grandmother took my brother and myself there weekly), and they've always been a great no-frills coffee-and-donut place. Highly recommended.
I'm totally addicted to Shipley's old fashioned cinnamon rolls. 😍🤤The toasted crunch of the walnuts, the chewy baked pastry, and the sticky buttery flavored syrup(?)/sugar sauce in between each cinnamon-swirled roll.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 😋 My other favorites are the classic glazed and cinnamon-sugar donuts. ☝️If you decide to get my favorite donut, don't forget to ask for the OLD FASHIONED👵 cinnamon roll as it is different than the regular cinnamon roll👶. One is soft and doughy(fried), the other is thicker and chewier(baked). And the milk is always cold and fresh!🥛👌 😊I haven't had the pigs in a blanket in a while / kolaches. But they're also good. 😋 Two large ones are a good adult portion. Two small are a good child's portion. My experience.
Amazing Fresh and Delicious Selection!!! ð±ðâââââ My kids were so delighted by their vibrant colors and wonderful flavors! We found our new favorite donuts! They just melt in your mouth. Pigs in a blanket are a must! Everything was war
If you are thinking about opening a coffee shop or a cafe, the Texas Coffee School 3-Day Coffee Business Class is an absolute must. I learned SO much not only about coffee, but about the process of starting and running a coffee business. Youâll lea
