Shinsen Express - Japanese restaurant in Fletcher - 5601 Hendersonville Rd, USA

My favorite Japanese restaurant South of Asheville. They are very timely with their orders and everything is always super delicious. I recommend number 3 or number 4 on the entre list. The food always seems very very fresh. And the staff is friendly and helpful.

Not bad, not great. The food was fine and it was quick, but I’ve had better food from most other Japanese restaurants (even the ones at food courts in malls). It was all a little dry.

Small parking lot outside but we were easily able to find a spot. The tables could have been cleaner. I did see them clean them up after we sat down at one. I agree that it is more of a takeout place. There are vegetarian options available. I enjoyed the edamame and tofu plate that I ordered. Prices are reasonable as well.

Not the nicest looking place, so I was not expecting much. Was pleasantly surprised! We got the chicken Teriyaki and the vegetable crunchy dragon roll. Both were so good and looked good too. I'm not a big fan of fish so I've been trying to find a good place that has yummy vegetarian sushi and I definitely found it! Also good pricing, for the amount of food you get

Easy online ordering available. The rolls were large and very delicious. The building and interior leave a lot to be desired so I highly recommend ordering out vs. dining in. It was a perfect place to grab food after a long day of work and work travel.

First time here. Had the shrimp and scallop combo w/ fried rice, mushrooms and carrots. Food was decent (mushrooms were really good)...otherwise, not a lot of flavor and the portion was small for $16. Will be back to try other dishes.

We chose this place for lunch for our office team. The menu was versatile and the pickup was pretty easy. The team gave us PLENTY of utensils and lots of soy sauce. The food tasted good and the portion size was very generous. If you are trying to find this place, it’s over by the subway and Asian market in Fletcher. They do have tables inside if you want to eat there. Habachi is also good there, but be sure to check your items before rolling out as we have sometimes had trouble not getting exactly what we thought, but it may have been our fault. Overall good place for sure! It also had a 97.5 health rating as well which is always comforting.

Delicious dishes that are familiar, made fast all in "10 minutes". Their food tasted clean in general and would definitely order take out again. The dining room wasn't inviting and didn't offer table service. The crab Rangoon appetizer was delightful.
