Great food & service! Had my first Hot Pot experience here & I already want to come back! Portions are huge - you will not leave hungry! The broths are amazing - this place is perfect for a winter meal. I highly recommend the pork & beef. The vegetables were fresh & absorbed a lot of flavor from the broth. They have a nice cocktail menu - I highly recommend the Moody St Zombie. It tastes great & comes in a cool glass.
A true hidden gem! From the delectable gyoza to a variety of vegetables, seafood, and meat – each dish is a delight. The broth is absolutely outstanding -we got the mushroom and tomato veggie-. Despite being in its soft opening phase, the experience was truly mouthwatering. Definitely planning to return.
What a wonderful addition to the restaurant-rich Moody St in Waltham! We tried the pork and lamb sets, both in the house broth. Absolutely delicious! And given the very generous servings (including a large variety of vegetables), we were in no need for appetizer or dessert. It was a cold and wet night, so we opted for the hot sake. Next time, we'll try one of the many premium sakes. The service was top-notch. Catalina was happy to educate us about the finer points of Japanese Shabu-Shabu style eating. They also have an impressive selection of Japanese whiskey, which I'll definitely try on future visits.
good, clean-tasting food. it is pretty healthy. the ingredients are fresh and come quickly. the pork dumplings are delicious. the staff is lovely! the portion sizes are kind of small for the price and the house pork bone broth isnt very flavorful; but i havent tried the other broths.
What a great new gem on Moody Street! Just when I thought I would be further disappointed by another restaurant on Moody, I was so pleasantly surprised by delicious shabu shabu in a modern, clean setting! The short rib cubes were juicy and tasty, and the squid karaage had a nice crunch to it. The deluxe set we ordered included chicken, pork, seasonal veggies, and tonkatsu broth. The huge silver pot was a sight to see and the bubbly broth fun to throw all the ingredients in! Definitely also order sides like dumplings and extra veggies to throw in as well. "Fish paste" is also a must try. Trust me. It's a fun interactive dining experience, and the service is so great. The bartender even came by to check on my drink. I can't wait to go back!
The best hot pot restaurant in Boston hands down. Super high quality meats, fresh veggies, and two amazing dipping sauces (housemade soy sauce with fresh garlic and scallions and a housemade sesame sauce). There is a full bar with a nice cocktail list also. Be sure to check out their sake list! I was impressed with their selection.
That's the right hotpot place you should try, after I had beef slices, I want to dump my supermarket beef. So tender and fresh. The lunch set worth the price!
The service was top notch. Everyone was so attentive and friendly from the minute we walked in. Our waitress was helpful with questions about menu items. The drinks were good, food was great. Everything came out in a timely fashion and was fresh. Personal favorites / recommendations : Appetizer: spicy edamame Dinner: A1 Prime beef rib eye set with Tom Yum broth Drink: lychee martini
Absolutely and easily the best gym experience I have ever had. I look forward to my sessions each week and I always feel great afterward. The coaches are very kind and knowledgeable, and the space is well-maintained and clean. Boston Underground Stre
