Ooh, brother, when I strolled in from the darkness, I was greeted by the warm, friendly staff who were so proud of their city, you could feel the love in the air! They welcomed me like a champion stepping into the ring, and the night was off to a bodyslamming start! The food, man, the food at Shifty's was nothing short of a knockout! I had the Shifty Burger, and let me tell you, it was a taste explosion in my mouth! Cooked to perfection, dripping with flavor, and paired with crispy golden fries – I felt like I was on top of the food world without breaking the bank. They're serving up affordability like no other place in town! And the drinks, oh, the drinks! Shifty's had an impressive selection to quench my thirst and at prices that'd make any wallet smile. The bartenders knew their stuff and mixed up concoctions that had me feeling like a champion celebrating a big victory! But it was the staff who really stole the show. Their attentiveness was off the charts, and their genuine friendliness was like a warm embrace. They're the backbone of Shifty's, and you can tell they're passionate about their city, making every visitor feel like part of the Circleville family. In the grand arena of restaurants and bars, Shifty's in Circleville is a true contender. Great food, affordable drinks, and a staff that'll make you feel like a superstar. They always know our order even if it's been since last fall! You don't have to wait once a year for Ashville, Shifty's has fresh fish all year long! I only gave 5 stars because I couldn't give 6!!!!!!!

My Grandfather used to go to this bar when I was a kid & he always took me with him. It's been here for years - I remember going here in the late 60's. The inside doesn't look like it's changed much :) Next time you're there have one for Red Martin!

First time here.and the lady behind the counter was super friendly- hands down! I've heard good things about their food so I decided to try their fried perch basket. I took it to go and when I got home and sat down to eat... I was extremely impressed. The fish was like a 4th of July weekend fish fry taste, the fries were better than any other place I've been.and the coleslaw was very good and wet. A lot of places the coleslaw is dry but not here! A+++

Nice little place to have a quick lunch. Super small for seating but all in all good service.

Hole in the wall with local flavor up close and personal. The local towns folk will talk to you. Go for the small town flavor and try a perch basket with frog legs.

It did seem like a "local" place but don't let that intimidate you. The bartender and people inside were very friendly and made me feel welcome. I had to fish sandwich with fries. They serve it on bread so if that's not your thing you might not like it but it was hot fresh and delicious. It doesn't come with anything on it so you have to ask if you want lettuce or anything like that. The fries seemed homemade and although I got a half order it was more than enough. It is small inside so I imagine they could get crowded at times. They do have a choice of a couple draft beers. I got the Circleville pumpkin and it's was tasty. For the fish sandwich fries and Brew that cost $11 I thought that was reasonable. Definitely will be back next time I'm in Circleville

The shift basket offers a really good variety and it's enough to share. Quick and friendly service.
