Only have been here once, so take this as a one time novice review - our drinks got messed up two times, which happens. Staff was very cool and knew that messed them up themselves. All good. Atmosphere was nice, just different with it being a bike shop yet. They have these, like, waffle cookie baked good item, 100% need to try these, super good! Haven't had anything like them before. Overall: Great staff, decent choices for coffee, small selection for bakery - definitely worth checking out.
Incredible coffee shop. I come here all the time to do homework and hang out. The baristas are incredible and so kind. The bike side is excellent and always ready to help with any questions. The drinks are not super sweet which is nice and helps me slowly stop my sweet tooth. I have met some incredible friends at this shop and continue to, to this day. Peanut butter cookies and multi berry scones are to die for!
Visiting Wisconsin and FINALLY found good coffee! Beautiful shop in a nice location. Baristas are very nice, lots of natural light. Will be visiting again soon!
Worst cup of chai latte ever. Watered down flavorless tepid dishwater would describe it. The yelling out each individual cup for our large group so we have to get up and down navigating your way back yo the counter. We ended up unable to drink the drinks and set our full cups on the counter at the register and told them they were disgusting. I would describe it as pretentious and unsanitary. You do not even want to know about the bathroom.
Been coming to Shift for coffee since they opened, seriously some of my favorite drinks have been from here. If you like high quality coffee, Shift is the place! I recently also needed a new bike tire, and the mechanic had it replaced in less than 20 minutes. I can’t wait for spring to go back for a tune-up!
Food & service are both great. Went after hours with a friend for some live music. We had the best time. I recommend getting a London fog with lavender syrup
Very nice atmosphere for coffee socializing or studying! Features a few of the top brands in coffee roasters, pour overs and espresso drinks. Service and treats are exceptional!
What can I say: I own a small specialty coffee roasting business so I’m REALLY picky about coffee shops, and this place nails it. Great multi-roaster options featuring fantastic Wisconsin-based roasters, pour over, espresso, drip, and non-coffee options - all tucked into an adorable little spot and part of a bike shop, no less! Just perfect. 10/10, would recommend
