Sherwood Motel - Motel in Waterford Twp - 2460 Dixie Hwy, USA

I went threw a nasty divorce and relocated back to Michigan Sherwood is by hands down a nice safe place to stay. It's quiet the owner and family are so kind.. the rooms are well kept and they keep this place very safe.. I recommend Sherwood over any other local motel. I have stayed at McGuire and the Highlander both motels were trash.. Hands down this is were I recommend anyone from out of town or in town to stay..

Was most horrible when I woke up with bed bugs latched to my skin. I searched and was so many bed bugs everywhere. Big small bed bugs . Was afraid to go home and being them with me to my own bed . The staff at least refunded me for that horrible nightmare. I stayed there before and didnt get bugged out. I would do a good search soon check inn to make sure its bug free. . I had rodeway inn with bed bugs not even compensate me for the same reason. At least he was understanding that I was freaking out checking my whole body for bugs everywhere and my clothes. Still makes me feel like bugs crawling on me when I think about it.

Modest room at an appropriately priced modest rate of $53 even (2 adults). At most motels of similar amenities, a 2 star rating would be generous, however, what separates Sherwood Motel was the proprietor/concierge. I don't recall the name of this kind gentelman, but I was happily surprised by his eagerness to accommodate, inquiries of our contentment, and overall caring demeanor that he has maintained consistently on each of my three stays here. Can't find much better for the price, IMO.

This place is disgusting, there's black mold all over the shower, I went to brush my teeth and the sink covered the whole bathroom floor in water, The door to the room isn't even Coneccted properly anyone could easily come up and not even put effort into kicking the door down, There is no hot water, and the bed smells revolting. Terrible place not worth your money. The place all around is just revolting. I don't know how that pass health code. And my brother can't even come visit me here or they call the cops because there is extra people which is complete bullcrap.

It's a hole in the wall. Upon giving us the key in the manager said it was a nice room and when I say it is a hole in the wall I'm literally mean there was a hole on the closet wall and the flower could definitely move sake and for a rape done or place to hide a body or something period also absolutely did not appreciate the manager barging into the room and noon on the dot to tell me I needed a baguette out I'm not a hooker I'm at a homeless person you're supposed to call and remind me if I happen to oversleep I only stayed at that crappy Hotel because nothing else had in your rooms available and I won't be seeing there again totally rude

My room was not clean. They would not let me use two extra towels or two extra plastic cups. Seems cheap of the motel. Not friendly staff at front desk. Thumbs down

It's a cheap motel. They do have cable with free HBO and a mini fridge and a microwave. The rooms are comfortable. Plus is quiet. I love my stay here.

VERY FILTHY!!! Dirty bathroom, shower, bugs crawling on the bathroom floor, no toilet paper or soap, only one washcloth for 2 adults, COCKROACHES on carpet area, not much lighting, freezer is full of built up ice, bed is not clean!!! The cost of the room is MORE THAN ANY OTHER PLACE AROUND, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU GET NOTHING FOR THE MONEY!!! I WILL NOT RETURN!!!!!
