Eat like a Sherpa preparing for winter. Fresh house made dumplings (Momos), delicious noodle dishes, even fried delights! Like it sweaty spicy? Done...or not. Diverse options to fit your food preferences. Real Nepal food with a few fun twists. Don't miss out on this gem tucked away in The Zed, you'll be back again and again!
Visited for dumpling week.
In addition to dumpling also ordered chicken rice bowl.
Dumplings were filled with the filling, well cooked, and the sauce they were served in with delicious.
Chicken rice bowl was a good size portion and delicious.
Friendly staff.
Order at counter and beeper let's you know when to pick up.
Parking lot next door but also street parking available.
Plenty of indoor seating available.
Vegetarian Food review. Been there twice and loved it both times. The vegetarian moms are delicious. Also try the vegetarian rice bowl with stir fry veggies and lentils. Last time I also got the vegetarian noodles but the top 2 are my fav. Their Chilli sauce is delicious beyond belief and they sell it by the bottle. So if spice is your jam you are in for a treat with that sauce. Tell me what you think. Tsomo and her husband truly cook from their heart and it reflects in the food. Can’t wait to go back.
I have been waiting so long to try some great Nepali/Tibetan cuisine! And this hits the SPOT!!! My comfort place!! Gotta try chips chilly!! And my fav Chilly MoMo
Super flavorful and generous portions.
Super friendly and sweet owners!
We talked about Nepal because I studied there and they were delighted.
Small menu but they’ll customize things for you easily.
We’ve had Sherpa Kitchen delivered twice and it was perfect both times. The cup of dal, sauce for the momos and salad are especially delicious.
One of best momo spot in Portland. Great customer service. They have proper plates and bowl for momo and Choumein. Choumein is rich in vegitables and meat, while momo is big as well as juicy. The sauce that comes with momo is beautiful gold color with hints of traditional Nepalese spices. The hot sauce is even better, with its smell overpowering the hotness. You can take food inside the pub and tent. Space is pet friendly and has supply of cold water. I would highly recommend this place for anyome wanting to taste good momo in portland.
For me 1 plate is enough. As momo comes with green salad, it looks healthy as well. Both beef and veg momo are good.
I have visited Nepal very frequently for mountaineering. And I longed for some Nepali/Tibetan cuisine, this made me visit the sherpa kitchen. The momos were OK, equivalent to roadside fare in Thamel Kathmandu! What they passed of for Thukpa was just OILY stir fried noodles! If I wanted stir fried noodles I would have gone elsewhere. One does not have to be a connoisseur to know that thukpa is a soup with veges, meat and noodles andIT IS NOT STIR FRIED. So if you just want a meal served by a Nepali do go here, but if you want Nepali/Tibetan food this is not the place. You just have to google thukpa images and you will know what I am talking about. The only thing to its credit is it is cheap! The best part is Base Camp brew! Their dark ale is awesome.
I love this spot. They have one of the best cappuccinos in Portland. The staff is always kind, and friendly. And the tunes are always on point.
Pro tip: ask for sugar crunchies on your capp. You wonât regret it!
I absolutely loved this spot!! We stumbled upon it after picking up some food from the Cart Blocks trucks. We were welcomed in with our food and purchased a glass of wine to enjoy with our food on the top deck. The atmosphere is so lovely! The serve

The cart weâve needed! Rich flavors with the creamiest mac n cheese and mashed potatoes (my fave). Donât sleep on the desserts either. Somehow tastes even better as leftovers!

This place is fantastic. This was our first visit. The customer ahead of us was giddy to recommend their house made vanilla syrup for our coffee drink and the âwicked awesomeâ sandwich. We arenât vegetarians but he was so insistent that we chan
Awesome facility and located 5 minutes away. It was easy to find, although I wish it had a Risio sign outside. Their website was nice to navigate through and book a drop in session. Margaret the owner communicates and follows through and she looks li
