Sherman County Historical Museum - Museum in Moro - 200 Dewey St, USA

Great breadth and detail on the local history and especially wheat growing, harvesting and technology used in the past 100+ years. Excellent printing press and armed forces display too. Admission is $5 adults, $1 kids but we’ll worth it. They also have various tourism brochures for Oregon.

It was great. Covered bridge. Didn't go inside although there was things to see outside. $5.00 to get in. Nice park. Place for kids to play.

We enjoyed seeing what we could from the outside as it was closed. A great little area

We did not visit the museums but they look very interesting. We stopped to use the restrooms, then sat in the park to have our lunch. Everything was beat and well maintained.

This is one of the best small museums I have visited. A lot of great displays, many are hands on. Photos, videos and static displays are outstanding. From the earliest known history to today, you can learn how it all happened. I thoroughly enjoyed speaking with the wonderful docents who are eager to share their knowledge. Highly recommended.

This is an awesome county museum! Very kid friendly, with numerous themed exhibits. The traditional culture, exploration, and settlement exhibits are well presented and engaging, as are the agricultural history exhibits. Air conditioning throughout. Take time to poke around here if you have the chance!

We drive from Nor Cal to Washington fairly frequently to visit family. We have driven this route before but this is the first time we've stopped at the Museum. We'll definitely do it again! It's a great set-up; park outside for kids and animals, bathrooms, water... there is even a bicycle repair stand with tools if you are on tour. The staff is very friendly; we greatly appreciated their candor. There are also things for the kids to do and touch inside 5he museum. We really appreciated an experience for the whole family. Delightful pit stop.

Had a great display and wonderful people that where both full of information of the displays and the area. The displays where just wonderful, and a nice balance of touch and no touch areas for kids. It was just wonderful.
