Sheri's Motel - Motel in Lakewood - 11090 W Colfax Ave, USA

Paid for a week and the lady who checked us in tried to say we paid with fake bills when I mentioned that they have cameras in the lobby she changed her story, and gave us a key to our room, 2 days into our stay we had absolutely no water!! For 2 days of the 7 days we paid. The rooms reminded me of how the extremely poor live. So nasty, dirty and run down. We left before our week was up. Doesn’t help that it’s right next to a liquor store, and you got drunks everywhere

Sheri was there at the motel in the parking lot the entire night. She rolled up on me and very nearly ran me over. She started asking me questions and who I was with. The atmosphere is run down and not very clean. I would say that it's just what it looks like a dump. Don't forget the unprofessionalism the owner herself just walks in to our room without permission to do so. It's my last stay at Sheri's

Coming to Colorado was suppose to be a great experience, being it my very first time in the beautiful Rockies. Unfortunately, the motel I chose due to the price was very disturbing. The rooms were filthy, shower drains clogged, broken AC, mold infested walls and cabinets,,and no room service whatsoever such as clean sheets, toilet paper, or towels. ||The landlord is too busy being nosey, telling lies about her tenants to others, riding around telling guests to stay in their rooms like a "correctional officer". Instead of keeping her word and getting maintenance problems fixed. Sheri pretends to be sincere and put on this facade.||The business owner needs to learn how to run a business properly with respect and honesty. Staying in a motel on summer vacation is for the purpose to relax, enjoy, and get away from our regular routine. The majority of tenants are parolees fresh from prison and have leg monitors on. Their friends and families come to visit and she rudely tells them to get off her property. The woman is running a shady business only accepting cash without receipts and sneaking into the rooms when the occupants are not there.|| This was definitely the worse stay and experience ever. A true landlord will respect her tenants, treat them as guests, and never steal from them. I saw this numerous times. When a tenant is unable to pay she sends her two goons she calls managers to clear the room. They keep anything of value for themselves and throw everything else in the dumpster. Most of those occupants were short a few dollars and the prices are being jacked up unexpectedly. She immediately forces them off the property, threats to call the police, and keeps their things for herself or throws it in the dumpster. No one should ever treat a guest this way.||It broke my heart to see a 62 year old crippled Veteran thrown out and not giving him a chance to get his things bc he does not own a vehicle. She blatantly lied to his face and said she would put his belongings in storage for 30 days. His belongings were in the dumpster the following day. ||I advise anyone to go pay a little extra and go to an established motel. I give this place negative stars.

Sherri does her best at keeping bad people away. She can be short tempered but really cares about her tenants. The rooms are not the best but they can be decent if you're willing to put in a little work. This motel is more for ling term residents so it's not what you would expect of a typical motel.

This isn't the place to go if your trying to live fancy. It's small and run down but if it's the only option you have it passes. The other renters are a little sketchy too, I had my phone stolen within a few minutes of getting there, but I must add that I was pleasantly surprised when the random stranger who took it returned it to me the next day as if it was no big deal.

Sheri is a trip and can be very nice or very not so nice. Her rates are slightly better than some.of the other dives along the strip but her business etiquette is unbelievable at times and it's clear thatbshe.akes.her own rules.and they are constantly in.a state of change so one.time she will welcome.you with a warm smile and the next she will insult your mother and threaten you for no reason.at all. Apparently things like beds and hot water aren't always provided though other times accomdations are superb. It's a hit and miss proposition and the luck of the draw. She doesn't allow visitors and will physically attack some people while welcoming others. It's insane and so is she in my opinion and I personally stay far away as possible. Anything g can happen while visiting this motel and has. I've seen police raid the place, forensic vans collect evidence after slashings and murders and respectable people dragged out by their heels for no reason. I will be watching.my back after this review because she knows who I am and has chased me down on the street to threatene and also to tell m how.much she likes me begging me to come back. The lady is bipolar and to be watched carefully

Been staying here for a few months and have been dealing with bed bugs since our 3rd week here. Our neighbor brought the bugs to the motel and we weren’t informed about it before moving in. We haven’t received a new bed, or any help with getting rid of them. We were promised a brand new room in another building as soon as it gets finished being built and the owner gives the room to someone else without saying a word about it. This issue alone has made our stay a living HELL.

Very ran down Had a friend stay there And well very nasty Smelt Black mold on the walls She owner lady I guess her name was Sheri was rude and yelling at every one there. A bunch of ppl where outside smoking crack drinking and causing a scene when Sheri wasn’t there There are bed bugs Not a good Environment I definitely do not revommend this place It should be torn down and put a gas station
