Second time staying here. It is fairly central (in Milpitas actually). Quiet area off the main road.
Rooms are very large, and prices are cheaper than the hotels around it (I think around $60 per night cheaper than Hyatt House just several miles down the road). Good shower pressure with a tub.
Heated pool that is quite large.
The cons: Breakfast is not very good so I don't recommend paying for that option unless it is just a nominal charge more. Rooms are a bit outdated. Parking is on-site but charged. Not a suite (no kitchen other than a mini-fridge and sink).
Pros: big rooms, good service, rates are fair for the large 1 bedroom, and heated pools.
But I would recommend. Solid 4 stars.
Outdated rooms but comfortable and clean bedding. Swimming pool area was nice but pool isn’t heated so it was cold even when it was 80s outside. Our room wasn’t cleaned well but they quickly fixed it after we complained. The room started smelling like something is burning when we turned on the heater to warm up the room. Location was nice as it was close to great America. There was only one machine at the gym and even that was out of order.
The big fountain in the pool area was off or not working but the other one by the pond was on and it was nice. The restaurant on site was meh 🫤 … the description of the food items was fancy but once we got the food it was very basic and not very good.
Place is in a quiet area. Near the freeway but remarkably quiet. The rooms are very nice and I have to say I fell in love with the shower head. Will be liking for the same one to put in my home. Front desk people were amazing. I would recommend this place to everyone.
Very clean and well maintained buildings, rooms, and premises. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The pool area is very nice, not your typical hotel pool, as it's in a garden like setting. We did not have time to eat at the on-site restaurant, but I love that it was there. The location was very convenient and felt very safe.
I thought the woman at the front desk was a scammer from a nightclub. She couldn't solve the problem. She only said that the manager would be at work tomorrow morning. Is the manager your backer? Does the manager have to listen to your orders? You are too arrogant. I don't know if you think the hotel is run by your family. I hope everyone will not be fooled. Although it's not much money, it makes people feel very happy. I also hope that the hotel management will check the surveillance to see how your employees cheat customers. Money is not earned this way. Even if you earn it, I think there will be retribution.
The hot water did not work in the sink. When I turned the faucet no water came out. The tub plug did not stay up to drain the water. We only had 1 coffee cup. For the price we should have had a fridge and microwave. We had lots of food go to waste including milk for my son. The ice machine is on the 7th floor. I asked if the pool was heated and was told yes, but it was freezing. Basic TV channels. Total disappointment
Was there for graduation weekend. Decided not to stay at Santa Cruz because there is really only 1 hotel I would stay at there and it was sold out. We decided to fly into San José and stay there instead, the 45 min drive isnt bad. I wouldn't say this hotel is the worst, but needs to seriously be updated and managed better.
We decided on a suite: Lighting is horrible throughout, floor lamps and table lamps you physically have to walk to, to turn on, WTH! furniture is outdated and smells old. Bathroom: had no extractor, you had to open the door for the steam to leave and be able to see yourself in the Mirror, toilet was stained with yellow streaks and would get stuck and run water, until you unstuck it. It was 2 queen beds, obviously for 4 guests, only had 3 towels. Conditioner was out, had to walk down to Reception area and ask to have one put in. They said "might as well take it now", okaaay! Next day shampoo was out, (means the cleaning person doesn't check the bottles). Had to walkdown a second time. Gym has no a/c it was hot and stuffy.
Not only that, my daughter decided to use the pull out sofá in living room to give my son and her more space, 5 min later she runs in yelling, that she killed a roach that was crawling on her, in bed!!!! Disgusting!!!! I will for sure not be back to this particular hotel, if I'm back in the area.
Such a disappointment of a stay. The rooms, elevators and hallways were all run down including stains on the carpets and worn furniture. The pool "towels" were bath mats and the furniture was worn to the point where a child was sinking. Staff communication is horrible and don't get me started on their housekeeping lost and found policy... as a warning double check your room before leaving!
Rooms are clean and room size is also good, they have a kitchen, coffee maker, fridge, TV and working table in the room. They clean the room Monday to Friday.
Daily breakfast provided and laundry is free. You have restaurant's near by and 99 Ranch ma
My wife and I are 49ers season ticket holders. We stay at the Hampton Inn Milipitas for all the home games between the months of September through January each season. We have done so for years now. The rooms are nice and the location is perfect. T
