Sheraton Louisville Riverside Hotel - Featured Reviews (1117)
We've stayed here three times while we were getting work done on our RV just up the road. It's a great combination of a trusted shop and ideal/relaxing overnight (or two) stay. The rooms are fine although the carpets are occasionally worn and stained and wall paper during this recent stay was bubbling from water damage in the bathroom. BUT, the amenities are fine, the bed is super comfortable, and the rest of the room was great!
What we really loved was the hospitality of the staff. We've generally met the same concierge staff over the past couple of years and they are really friendly and welcoming. Just love them.
The location can't be beat. It's near a great Mexican restaurant and waterfront restaurants as well. There's a waterfront walking path that will give you an approximately 1.5 mile out and back walk to the end of it when you leave the hotel.
Thanks for the hospitality and the safe and comfy place to stay when we're out of our home (our RV). Y'all are awesome!
Nice stay. This location is great and its just a quick ride to downtown Louisville. The Sheraton is a bit dated but my room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Partial view of the river and Louisville skyline was great. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I will be staying here again on future trips to the Louisville area!
I do not recommend staying at this hotel! The location is great but the rooms are lower tier at best. I was double charged through no fault of mine and have been trying unsuccessfully to obtain a refund. The manager won't even call me back. This has been ongoing for three full weeks. I know what good service is and this hotel does not have it....not even close!
We were just down here for a wedding. The rooms need to be updated, but are spacious and comfortable. The workers at the desk were very attentive and personable. The location is walking distance from the walking bridge, which I enjoyed very much. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you
This will not be the most pristine or luxurious hotel you could choose, but it was clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff were friendly and professional. The location could not be better to all the downtown attractions and within an easy walk there are two really good restaurants. NO, its not a place to honeymoon, but great place to rest while visiting downtown Louisville. BTW, room was quiet and beds great.
The location was great, but I have stayed in $50/night motels with cleanlier rooms than this. I had an allergic reaction after night one, and I'm normally not sensitive to things like that. There is mold everywhere. My husband made coffee in the room one morning, when he unstacked the two cups sitting there, the inside of the bottom one was covered in mold and there was mold on the outside rim of the one that had been sitting down in it. Our AC unit was broken, they replaced it which was great - but just left a pile of plaster laying in the carpet. Carpet itself is disgusting. Everything feels damp here. Clean towels smell like mushrooms. Even the fruit being served at breakfast had mold. I could go on. Everyone in my family had similar experiences. It's unfortunate because we really did enjoy the location. Employees were kind, but a lot of them working in the back of house that we ran into on elevators every now and them seemed downright miserable. Which I get it... it's work. But man. Place is depressing.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel while traveling across the country. The location was fantastic with great views and close proximity to restaurants. The staff were kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and well appointed. I would definitely recommend staying at this location if you’re in the area.
Clean and comfortable — an older hotel but showing its age. We stay here for the annual Abbey Road festival and appreciate the friendly staff and proximity to local restaurants etc…. Particularly happy each year to see Frank Green who handles the prompt and reliable shuttle service. His knowledge of the area and recommendations are priceless and gives a special personality to the Sheraton. We’ll likely be back again!

The staff was helpful, the room was clean, the breakfast was great, and the walk on the bridge/park was refreshing. But the most wonderful and surprising part of my stay in this hotel was; the windows were not locked up! I was able to crack the wind
Not just a tour, but an experience! From the moment we walked in we were welcomed and warmly greeted by Christian and Beverly who provided an abundance of knowledge about the home and its rich history; truly a blessing! Although the museum is heavy
What a great place to visit. I've been telling everyone. Next time I go I will take my bike. The view off the bridge was breathtaking. So much to see. Everyone was having a great time. Lots of nice places to eat in the area.
This is a wonderful park tucked back up in the Crystal Springs subdivision in Jeff as you can see in the photos. Ample parking, huge open fields for kites or pick games of football or soccer, paved jogging/walking track. Benches and boulders are set
Ramiro's Cantina! What can I say. 4 years ago when I went to the Kentucky State Fare that was the first time I had Ramiro's Tacos. I was told that they smoke their brisket for hours to perfection in house. Last night I got to witness it for my self i
Will definitely be back! We ordered the hibachi plates. My husband ordered the steak and chicken. I ordered the chicken and shrimp and they were excellent! The Fried Dumplings were crave worthy for sure, and the Crab Rangoon, excellent!
We will defin
