Sheraton Duluth Hotel - Hotel in Duluth - 301 E Superior St, USA

We had a very comfortable stay at the Sheraton Duluth Hotel in downtown Duluth. It is an easy walk to the Canal Park area. And trust me, if you stay in the Canal Park area, the traffic can be gridlock. Walking from the Sheraton is a snap! We stayed in a corner suite. Talk about fabulous...very roomy, very comfortable, bedding excellent. Parking is extra, but you pay less through the hotel and it is very convenient. However, if you have a lot of luggage, I suggest you drop it off in front first. We had one dinner in the RSTRNT 301 and it was fair to middling. We liked the breakfast in the dining room. Coffee is very good. The bartenders make excellent Margaritas! Wine list had a good selection of what we like. We would stay there again if we find ourselves in Duluth. Really cool city! Nice people. Speaking of nice people, the hotel staff was very nice and accommodating too!

The location was great for us. (There were a few people walking around downtown on a weekend but they didn’t bother us). Close enough to walk to some downtown restaurants, and an easy walk via the Lakeway path to Canal Park. If you like water, ask for a lake-facing view. We loved watching boats, small and large. And we could see a ship enter the port and the aerial bridge rising after dark. Staff was very friendly and helpful. And, we didn’t have to ask for daily housekeeping!!! First time since 2019 for us.

My dog & I stayed one night & the room was very comfortable & quiet. Patrick at the front desk was so helpful & friendly both @ check-in & the next morning even though he was working a long shift. He should have a raise!

Our favorite place to stay in Duluth! The staff each stay has been incredibly friendly! The rooms are delightful and clean. When we get a view of the lake it is spectacular! We are able to walk downtown Duluth or to Canal Park. We will continually come back and bring our friends and family.

Never have I had this bad of a hotel service experience. I reserved a room through the Marriott website, and my room was not ready by 4:40 when I checked in. They moved me to a different room, and when I got my bill it was for over $150 more than my reservation states. I had to spend a significant amount of time and had four different bills with the promise that it was fixed, yet, it took a fifth call. At this point my room should have been comped because of this mess, but they only got it to the point where I am paying my reservation price. After I left feedback on the hotel site, they gave me 5,000 bonvoy points. In addition, there is only one electric plug in in the lot, so I had to charge my car in Canal Park. Also, the room next to mine had an alarm go off at 5:30 in the morning and it must have been an empty room. As far as the location is concerned, if you want to feel safe leaving the hotel, stay in Canal Park, but if you like hanging out with homeless people and druggies, stay at the Sheraton.

The atmosphere was great. The rooms view was beautiful. The staff are all friendly and helpful. I loved my stay. I would love to visit again one day. Duluth should be put on your bucket list. It's so peacefully beautiful 😍

Beware if you ask for an “accessible” room. Ours in the club level was far from accessible even though the front desk swore it was. No grab bars in the shower or near the toilet. The only grab bar in the entire bathroom was in the inaccessible tub, and none anywhere else in the suite. The bed was too high.

Great customer service, coffee and tea can be found at the lobby each morning. Rooms were spacious, clean, beds were extremely comfortable. They were doing construction at the hospital next door so can get a bit noisy early in the morning, otherwise enjoyed my stay.
