Sheraton Atlantic City Convention Center Hotel - Hotel in Atlantic City - Two Convention Boulevard, 2 Convention Blvd, USA

Not what you would expect from a Sheraton type property. We stayed only for two nights so I didn’t make much fuss about anything but, overall, this property is not like others I’ve been to before. This was a dead hotel and surrounding area for two days we’ve been there. The room decor was outdated, TV was not working and there was no promo material for any restaurants or events in the area. Elevator was a nightmare on Saturday, only 2 out of 5 were working for no apparent reason. Parking was $20 per night and is located across the street. Few bright spots were, the bed was very comfy and I slept like a baby. Checkin and checkout process was smooth, (keep in mind it was not a weekend). Breakfast cafe was $25 flat and you could eat as much as you want, (bacon, sausage, fries, eggs, everything you would normally expect.) Roughly 10-15 minutes walking distance to AC boardwalk and Casinos and other fun activities. Right across the street from the hotel is Outlet Mall. So all in all not bad but the two days we were there the place was dead in and around. Next time we’ll stay closer to boardwalk

I finally gave the Sheraton a try and am glad I did! The value is excellent for the quality of the accommodations and service. Our room was clean, comfortable and in great condition. Check-in was quick and easy and the security deposit policy is the best in the area. ($50, with parking being taken from that hold at check-out.) I have read many complaints about the parking. I found it to be completely reasonable. If you pay attention to the signs that point you to the closest area to park, it's literally a 1-2 minute walk from your car to the door of the Sheraton. It's also very easy to drop your bags and family off at the hotel before parking. People are so dramatic. The street you cross from the garage to the hotel is basically a taxi/valet drop-off area, not a major traffic thoroughfare. AC is a walker's place, so what are people going to do if they can't even handle a few minutes walk??? Parking at a casino resort and walking through the property to the check-in desk is the exact same task.

We've stayed here before....we didn't want to stay here again. However, when your work function is across the walkway at the convention center, you sometimes make poor decisions out of necessity. The only saving grace of this place is the location to why we were in AC to begin with. The staff knows the place is a problem, and they aren't out to do more than apologize. Which you can't fault them for since the building is old and musty and the locks on the doors like the elevators and the air conditioning malfunction frequently. (Be prepared to have your keys remade at least once maybe 3 times.) If you are expecting or desiring to use hot water....stay elsewhere. None of our immediate group was able to take a hot shower the entirety of our stay. No matter the time of day, there simply isn't hot water. This has happened on every stay through the years, so I'm not sure how the Department of Health hasn't intervened yet. If you like us, are utilizing a group rate and attending an event across the street, consider the savings and the hassle may not make it worth it. Good luck with this one.

Quite small for their price. The two bedroom we stayed in for 5 was awful. Like other comments, I'll say that there was no hot water. I literally had to bathe with a cup from the sink because somehow the sink had hot water and not the shower. You can hear EVERYTHING in the bathroom. The toilets flush loud, interrupting sleep if someone else is in there. The gym also looks awful - like a physical therapy place rather than a 4 star hotel gym. The only saving grace is the location, because it allows you plenty of opportunities to get the hell away from this hotel.

Before our stay I had reached out about having a higher room with a view for my teen as it was a senior adventure for her. They went above and beyond to make sure that all of our needs were met. Thank you so much for your kindness and verifying that if we needed anything else to reach out. |Upon arrival, after driving and exhausted and just feeling icky, we were greeted graciously by Eric. He was so helpful and kind and explained the parking and options to me. We were early but they held our bags for us and would let us know when our room was ready. Which they did. |Another gentlemen at the desk also helped with this process but I did not catch his name. For that I am very sorry but I would like to recognize everyone from greeting, to help with luggage to the front desk, to housekeeping and through out our entire stay was absolutely amazing! |The room was sparkling clean and touched up nicely and refreshed each day. I can't say that I have stayed anywhere nicer...and I used to be a hotelier with 11 in our portfolio and have traveled often. I was amazed. THIS is the standard. We felt like valued guests from start to finish and we loved our entire stay. I really do hope that we get to come back. This is by far one of my favorite locations I have visited in all of my travels. I have never felt so safe, welcomed, clean, rested and cared for.

The barman was excellent, made a really good margarita (although was in a disposable cup because they don’t have glasses) and gave great recommendations including seeing the hook which was great.|He was the only highlight. |The room fridge had someone else’s old food in it and the bath was full of hair. The room smelt badly damp |The night reception staff were obnoxious when I wanted a new key and then disabled the existing one so my friend also couldn’t get in. |Overall the place is tired and dirty.

Stayed here because I had a show I wanted to attend and didn't want to drive home afterwards. Checking in was pretty easy and parking was ample and available at the nearby convention center. The rooms were very old and outdated and the carpet was not very clean. Since it was a very low budget hotel, I didn't fuss too much and we were only spending one night.

It was a good price but I didn't like the hotel. The first gentlemen at the front desk agent wasn't very helpful and missed a few important details during the check-in process. But the second front desk agent, she was very helpful and fixed all the mistakes that were created by the 1st person. The housekeeping service was almost none existing. They didn't really clean or fix the room they only removed the towels and replaced them. I still had trash inside of my room when we arrived back at the hotel. We would have gladly spent more money for a better experience.
