Shephard's Beach Resort - Hotel in Clearwater Beach - 619 S Gulfview Blvd, USA

My family just returned from a week at Shephard's and we absolutely loved it! It was our first time at the resort and in the Clearwater area. Every single person that we interacted with at the resort, from the front desk to cleaning staff to maintenance was friendly and professional. We had a pool view room and knew about the music (live and recorded) and we loved it. The view was amazing overlooking the beautiful pool and we found that with the patio door closed and curtain drawn at night, the sound wasn't bad at all. My son loved sitting out on the balcony at night after we went to our room listening to the music. The onsite tiki bar and pool bar have great drinks at a reasonable price and the food is excellent also. The resort is kept spotlessly clean and when we needed some minor assistance - we received an instant response with a smile. We liked the diverse crowd at the hotel - families, couples, and singles, all very nice people. My son took out a jet ski and the instructors were patient and thorough. Overall, we had a fantastic trip and will return. This is the first vacation I can recall where no one in the family had anything negative to say - every single thing was great. We will be back!

Very fun hotel! The location was perfect. The live environment was so much fun. This place attracts a lot of fun people and we made a lot of vacation friends. I stayed pool side so we could always hear the music and see the stage. It's exactly what we wanted. We came the end of August so not too many kids around. I'd absolutely come again!

The staff was amazing to the front desk to the bellman to the server staff in the back. Great service. It was a very nice and relaxing time. Entertainment was good. surrounding area is cool with good food. We look forward to coming again next year.

Ms Toni at Reception was very friendly and went an extra mile to make our stay super enjoyable. We are local and stayed at Shephard’s Beach Resort to celebrate a birthday. Live music was great! We really enjoyed pool, beach, kayak and other accommodations. We would recommend this beach resort for a vacation as well as staycation.

The band last night was amazing! Also I have to give praise to CALEB and JEROLD They made me and my entourage feel like celebrities! Welcoming us and answering questions to ensure we knew all we needed to know to have an amazing experience! Please keep this team together and leave these guys upfront as they are a great brand ambassador for Sheppard’s beach resort!

The room was great although we asked for a king bed, we got two queens. That was okay, beds were a little firm but comfortable. I have to say for the price of an alcoholic drink which was extremely expensive, you would think you could taste a little bit of alcohol. The drink cups were the size of a specimen cup as night approached. Food prices were expensive for the quality. The fish and chips weren’t even hand battered, it tasted like frozen battered fish from a supplier. Thought we would have gotten fresh fish hand battered for the price. The bands were really good, plenty of variety and old school baby boomer music. Loved it. All in all, the Shepherds Beach Resort was a good experience and we booked the same time for next year.

Fantastic place! Staff was super friendly, location was perfect and there is something for everyone to do here. The rooms could use a little updating but nothing was wrong. Thank you for a great little weekend getaway!

The resort is very accommodating, my flight was delayed and missed check in. The manager rearranged my check in and out with no problem. I love the resort, the pool and hot tub. The music at night was loud but didn’t interrupt my sleep. I used to have loud roommates so noise is no problem. I would definitely stay there again.
