Shenanigans Sports Bar & Grill - Sports bar in Sioux Falls - 1903 S Ellis Rd, USA

On Friday night-playing Singo at Shenanigans is the best. But I was here on Monday night and it’s much quieter. We sat on the patio. Very nice patio with plenty of seating. Ordered the spinach artichoke dip, served in a bread bowl and with tortilla chips. Ordered the Meat Thin crust pizza. Love the taste and a good thin crust. Great service and food came out quick. I wish they had Wild Turkey 101 or Buffalo Trace but they are a Coke account.

I met a friend for late lunch. I know it's a sports bar so I expected it to be noisy. But for me it was too loud (I must be too old!). I asked if there was a less noisy section and sat in that section. But then the game came on and it seemed like it was super loud. I think they turned it up a bit for the game. My friend and I decided we're were going to find somewhere else to eat as we hadn't ordered yet. It's not the fault of anyone-it is a sports bar and this is normal. I was just alot of having trouble hearing over the TV yesterday. The waiter Dan made a place for us in the patio so we could stay. I felt he went over and above to make us comfortable. He made us feel like "royalty"! We had an incredibly awesome day because Dan saw a way to give his customers a little special attention. Didn't go home disappointed! Thank you so much Dan!

Great atmosphere and crowd, and the service was great. The sliders were not good and the fries weren't either. The buns on the sliders were cold and the caramelized onions were a little off. Some of the other dishes that people had looked better but mine weren't.

This was our first time at Shenanigans. (8-5-23). We were here for a birthday party in a separate room. It was way to the back, with garage doors. We had appetizers that were provided to the guests. The food was great. We paid for our own drinks. There was water provided too. The staff was attentive in making sure the appetizers were refilled as needed and drinks brought out to those who wanted one. We were allowed to bring in popcorn and a cake for the birthday guest. Friends were able to cover tables and put out table decor, plates, napkins and etc. The room was pretty big and certainly fit our needs. It was pretty humid and warm in there when we first got there. (west side of building) It was a rainy, humid day. Later on it cooled down and the garage doors were opened a bit. It was perfect. I would love to go back and order off the menu sometime.

I placed a carryout order, all off menu items, no substitutions. When I came to pick it up, I was directed to the bar. It took me a while to flag down someone working at it. When I got the food back, I noticed they forgot the salad dressing. I drove back, had to flag down someone who worked there again because no one was working up front and the bar was packed. I explained the situation, they went back, a couple of minutes later came back with the dressing. I should add throughout all interactions with the staff I didn't get so much as a "hello", "have a nice day", or even a smile. I didn't get so much as a sorry for having to loop around to pick up a couple of salad dressings that were forgotten from the order. The food was not good. Especially for the price. I had a burger that was some how both rigid and soggy (probably didn't help that it was sitting in the takeaway container while I resolved the salad dressing issue). The salad was mostly wilted. It was a big portion but a good 30% of it had to be picked out. The croutons were stale. The fries were burnt. Pretty much have nothing good to say about it. The patrons were having a blast, though. And they were doing gangbusters at the bar, so I would imagine it would be good if you were looking to get sauced. It is definitely a bar first and a restaurant as an afterthought. I you get hungry when you're drunk and your standards go way down, maybe give it a shot. If you're just looking for a place to eat, there are way better options at a much better price. Maybe I'm the moron for expecting a good meal for $60.

The burgers are amazing! Best in town. Service was welcoming! Great staff! They provide great experience even in the small details like a great dipping sauce and a nice newspaper-type plate liner. Only thing I didn't like was the atmosphere... clean, but something may be missing there...

We had a large group- got tables quickly on the patio. Service was good, our server seemed new & nervous. I have had better food but it was OK.
