Nous avons séjourné 3 semaines dans cet établissement que nous connaissions avec ses 2 proprios québécois très gentil mais depuis, c'est l'agente Bradley Kady qui gère l'établissement donc qui ne donne aucune aide en cas de pepin. La laveuse a brisée et on a été obligé de se débrouiller seul pour faire le lavage du lit et des serviettes. Les gens de l'entretien font une belle job et sont très gentil. Aucun ménage de fait durant 3 semaines. C'est ok pour un cour séjour. Très cher pour aucun service.

You're literally steps from the sand and all the rooms have been renovated. We stay here every trip to Hollywood Beach. 5 times in the last year and a half alone. No vehicle needed or Ubers. You can easily walk to everything you may need. Bars/restaurants, shops, convenience stores, etc. It's all right there. I plan my flights around their room availability.

If you need a place to lay your heat this is it. Not glamorous just a bed a fridge a microwave

This place was a dream. Very spacious 2 bed apartment. Very roomy for 4. 2 separate doors. Walkway thro to each other's area. So cosy but separate if needed. Clean comfortable and good Laundry change daily. Guy and Pierre are so very nice. I would recommend this place to anyone. Few steps from beautiful Hollywood beach. Very popular. Loads to do, and fabulous weather. What more could you ask for a wonderful holiday.

Un immense merci à Pierre et Guy d avoir fait en sorte que notre séjour soit des plus agréable. Ma chum de fille et moi avions une chambre avec frigo micro onde cafetière grille pain et vaisselle. Il n'y a que 7 chambres dans ce motel ce qui le rend aussi agréable et amical. Nous sommes à une dizaine de bas du bordwalk donc parfait pour aller à la plage au spectacle le soir ainsi qu'au resto. J'ai adoré ma première expérience en Floride et j'ai bien hâte d'y revenir avec mon amoureux au Shell on the beach.

No pool. If you want you can TRY getting a day pass at margaritaville resort next door for $55 per person. They’re always SOLD OUT. ||Beach is literally 2 minute walk super bonus!||Room is small VERY smaller good for couples or single person. ||Awful smell coming from outside & in bathroom, not sure what it is. ||Close to EVERYTHING.||NO PARKING. They give you a pass but it’s useless. There’s a parking garage down the street not too far 8 minute walk..||AC works great||Bed uncomfortable ||Floors dirty being house slippers or extra socks ||They only give you two towels might want to bring your own.||Dusty & dirty. Dirt in the corners and your white socks will be black within 5 minutes of walking around. ||Overall not the WORST place I’ve stayed in BUT the beach is RIGHT there. It’s a place to sleep. & you can not beat the price. $500 to stay 4 nights. $2700 for 4 nights at margaritaville. ||5 out of 10

This was our third stay at the Shell Motel, and we are fondly looking forward to our fourth! The hosts, Guy & Pierre (brothers) are most accommodating and aim to please. ||The rooms and bathrooms ARE small, but just fine for two average size adults. There's cable TV, a comfy queen size bed with two nightstands and lamps, a closet to hang clothes, a kitchenette with stove, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, full size fridge, and just about every kitchen need possible (like a colander, can opener, you name it) -- a dresser with drawers, and a small table with two chairs.||The bathroom is tight, but with toilet, sink, mirrored medicine cabinet, stand up shower, and a full length mirror on the front of the bathroom door. ||Just outside your door is a small table with two chairs to enjoy your morning coffee or evening beer. A couple feet away is a community barbeque grill - well maintained. And some pretty tropical plants in large pots. ||Just in front of the main building are two porch 'gliders' (basically a grounded 'swing' with two benches and a table).||And free Wi-Fi! ||Fresh towels, toilet paper, etc. on a daily basis. ||The place is well maintained and clean. Parking is free (a lot of the time), but you may have to circle the block a few times in hopes that another car will leave. The most we had to circle the "small block" was 6 times, and that was on a Memorial day weekend - and probably 6 minutes total time. Trust me - just be patient and you WILL get a parking space! Or if you'd rather, there's a city parking garage only 3 short blocks over, but you will pay a pretty price to park. ||The beach is literally a one minute walk away, and has all kinds of bars, shops, and restaurants. The intracoastal is less than a minute walk away, as well (just on the other side of A1A) -- also with bars and restaurants.||PS: The only reason I tasted a 4 vs a 5 is that I didn't want to confuse others into thinking that this is a 'five-star hotel', so to speak. But it was a 5-star stay for us.||And we left the housekeeping girls a small tip on the day off check-out because hardly anyone remembers to do that these days. :)||We will return, Guy and Pierre!

Three of us recently stayed at the Shell and found it to be a great location. Steps from the broadwalk and beach. There was a great variety of eating places and if you're looking for an inexpensive breakfast under $4.00, it's there to be had. Our room was very clean, upgraded kitchen & bathroom with all cooking utensils. There was no pool at this location nor much property surrounding it to sunbathe, but lots of benches and places to sit steps nearby at the beach. The broadwalk has all kinds of shops & restaurants. This area is far less congested than Ft. Lauderdale. You may need a car though to get to a major grocery store, about a 10 min. drive. For the price, it suited us quite well. Our hosts were very gracious and gave us a lot of good tips. We would definitely stay there again.
