I recently went to see my first performance at the Seldom Theater in Red Wing! I went with some friends and we saw the B2wins! What a gem of a historic theater hidden in the quaint town of Red Wing! I feel like I was instantly transported into the past. Sitting in this theater for this show definitely enhanced my experience! It will now be on my list of go to places to see a show! Also of note, before the show, I received an email detailing where I could park and where I might enjoy a dinner before the show and how to get my tickets at the box office.
Superb historic preservation, sightlines, sound to hear the Glenn Miller Orchestra some 80 years after its early hits. Nice to see Russell Johnson, Dir of Production remembering him as an Assistant Stage Manager of the Guthrie Theater back in the day.
We love this historic place. We saw Mollie B and the decor is very nice. We sat on the balcony, and the seating was fine, but not if you were a taller person. Also, they do not charge an arm and a leg for their shows. There is a wide variety of events here. Would like more matinee shows. Serve drinks and snacks.
Beautiful theater and great volunteers who know the history of this jewel box of Red Wing.
Just a Tremendous Beautiful Venue. RUSSELL AND HIS STAFF WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND. GREAT LIVE ENTERTAINMENT SETTING.
I can only speak to the architecture of the building as I have yet to attend any kind of performance. The building, along with its history, is interesting and summons visions from a bygone era in the U.S. Definitely worth a visit during a stroll along Red Wings many small shops in the vicinity.
Once again, it was a wonderful visit to this beautifully maintained historic gem, Sheldon theater! Also, the Doug Allen Nash Johnny Cash tribute was one of the best I ever heard! Can't wait until my next visit!!
Saw a band unknown, unfamiliar to us. Was not what we expected but probably better than we expected. Sheldon Theater is amazing. Beautifully renovated, comfortable seats. Was a little drafty but not a lot of people there. Thinking I might have welcomed it in a packed house. Very friendly, helpful staff. Saw me taking pictures and recommended I go to the balcony for a different perspective.
The Upper Quarry, the first stop on the trail leading up to Memorial Park, is a beautiful and interesting place. The geologist in the family will find plenty of sandstone to examine and study, the hiker will love the trails, and the bird watcher will

I had a very enjoyable experience. Very nice, clean, beautiful park and bandshell. There's free music Wed nights. Excellent acoustics. Would love to go back again.
Came here for a late night snack after a wedding at the St. James and it was amaaaaazing! 10/10 recommend. Owned by a very sweet couple that was so welcoming. The guy told us he smokes all of the meats in house too. Next time you're in Red Wing, you
A really nice place. Nice little coffee shop. Quaint. Carpeting gives a nice warm feeling in November. Fun book exchange for the locals. This would be a great place to work remotely.
