Sheep Hills Park - Park in Laguna Hills - , USA

This is a nice park with Creek views. The only thing is you can't see the sunset from this park. It's clean though and has a few out houses to go to the bathroom. There is a small play ground that is great for small children. Big kids can enjoy riding their bike or skating or playing soccer or base ball here to practice. Dogs are allowed here but must be kept on a leash to keep everyone safe.

Love how open this park is, so green and pretty. Nothing fancy and I didn't spend too long here, but it had everything I need in a park- a little playground and big open green fields

Great place for morning exercise and runs. Baseball and soccer fields. A team plays cricket on Sundays. Fun to watch and play as well.

Beautiful park that borders the start of Aliso and Wood Wilderness Park and has Aliso Creek running through it. Has restrooms and a couple of baseball or soccer fields.

Not a bad soccer pitch, however, parking is a little tricky. They're actually two parking areas one off the main road, and one in the residential community. The one on the main road is much closer to the soccer fields.

Very clean grounds and smooth sidewalks. Nearby creek is fun to explore. Well-maintained grass fields. Free parallel parking on adjacent streets. Good for walking with section of park at an incline, which provides a good fitness challenge.

What makes a park really stand out is its connection tho the community it resides in. It is easy to construct a park for the purpose of having a park, but it is more difficult and says more about the park when the park becomes a symbol of the community and a place where gatherings and events can take place. Sheep Hills Park excels in these areas, serving as a beacon for the Laguna Hills community and offering a wonderful place for families to enjoy their mornings or afternoons. The main park consists of a wide open field of green natural grass with a baseball field towards the back end of the park and soccer goals just before that. There is then a quaint playground area that many children enjoy with multiple slides, swings, and a jungle gym to explore. Parents can watch from close by from one of the many benches and tables placed nearby. Right next to the Playground is a large hill which connects to the communities nearby; the hill is a great way to get a workout in for those of you looking to burn a few calories. The most often enjoyed aspect of the park is the large cement sidewalk "track" that rings around the fields and acts as a great path for walking alone or with a friend. Feel free to take a pet with as well, as the park is very dog friendly! Going with the theme of community, it is worth noting that the park hosts little league soccer and baseball games on some Saturdays and Sundays, making the grills on-site a great option for a wonderful picnic. The only con worth mentioning is the small amount of parking available. Visitors who do not live nearby will have to park near the back of the park by the adjacent road, as the local community does not enjoy park goers parking in spaces reserved for home owners. Otherwise, if this park sounds interesting to you consider coming by to take a peak!

Beautiful small park. Clean and well maintained. Except the bathrooms are portable; I didn't check inside. I enjoyed a rest and a light snack at a shady, concrete, picnic table before riding my bike back down to Crown Valley Community Center. I followed the paved bike trail from Sheep's Hill Park all the way to Lake Niguel Park. I used park roads to connect with another trail following the creek to the Crown Valley South Parking lot where I had left my minivan.
