Super cool place. This my first time visiting. I didn't play, they have a fundraiser for the local high-school dance team. The facility was clean well maintained, and the air conditioning was working lol. I have only played sand volleyball a handful of times, but I am for sure going back to play. Thanks for the hospitality.

I never write reviews, but the Thursday-night bartenders deserve a shout-out. I was there last night to hang out and watch some volleyball and they made the night enjoyable. The DJ was a hit-everyone was singing, dancing, and having a good time. Thank you for the great service, delicious drinks, and recommendations for the new food menu. I will definitely be back to see y'all.

Participated in Kansas City Corporate Challenge tug of war here. So didn’t actually patronize the place for their normal offerings but was impressed with the setup. The sand courts are right off the bar for easy transitioning back and forth. I will be back to try some of their leagues.

We came in Thursday night after our sons ball game, and we were SO impressed! The DJ was great, puts off great vibes! The Bartenders were super cool- which is refreshing nowadays! Especially the taller woman with black hair- can’t remember her name, but has really pretty eyes.. she made us feel so welcome and I know we will be back… even if we *do not* play volleyball. 😂

Thursday was my first time at volleyball beach, and I’ll definitely be back again. I had wondered over from the softball fields with some friends, and we instantly loved the vibe. The bar staff couldn’t have been any friendlier, and the DJ and food was 10/10. I recommend to anyone looking for a nice chill evening with friends, music, and some volleyball watchin.

Cannot say enough good things about SMBV. The Thursday night bar staff is amazing. This is our favorite bar in town! The service is always great and the bbq and weekly specials are awesome. Lots of new and exciting things happening.

Really? A $10 voucher for the championship winners? We pay $50 per player and you can’t afford a freakin t shirt? Just wondering what our money is going towards at this point. It’s definitely NOT spent on court or facilities maintenance or quality food. This place already had a loyal customer base but it seems like the new owners could not care less about what players want. I’ll continue coming to play volleyball but I won’t be spending a dime on anything else.
