Shawkers Grill & Bar - American restaurant in Rock Hill - 1415 E Main St, USA

First visit to this restaurant. Except for the really sticky floor, it was clean. Several TVs to watch sports, news, or whatever is on while you enjoy a beverage at the bar or wait on your order.The staff was helpful. The entire time I was there, I never once saw anyone smile. They just seem to “exist”. Maybe they were tired. It was around 7pm on Tuesday. I ordered honey hot wings with celery, 1/2 basket of fries and a turkey burger. I was told when I ordered it would take about 40minutes. It took that long and then some. They forgot my 1/2 basket of fries and celery. It didn’t take long to get my fries and I was ready to go. So I didn’t ask about the celery. Thankfully everything was good. The burger was well seasoned and the wings were generously covered with sauce. The server included the dipping sauce in a separate bag but did not include any napkins, wet naps, or utensils. UGH! My order was $20. I would order from here again on someone else’s dime. And I will refer it to any one desiring good wings. However, if it’s good customer service you want, this is not the place. The service is not horrible. It just makes you think twice about spending your money there. I just prefer good service AND good quality food.

I have not been here in a while but they have really stepped up the look on the inside with a clean and refreshed look and added some booths. It's definitely more welcoming than before. The food came out at different times and it was slow but it was fresh and hot. There were no issues with the food itself! We both ordered the raw fries medium and they were perfect. I gave it 4 stars because it was not a quick in and out lunch.

The food at Shawkers is completely amazing! There is no bad dish. Everything is made fresh and tastes amazing. Kelly is the best and it shows in her customer service. They really go out of the way to make sure you are more than a one time customer. They have certainly earned my business!

So completely disappointed and disgusted by this restaurant now. I have been going to this restaurant since it was Chicken Shak back in the day, and today marked the last time. Put a DoorDash pickup order in, and waited the 40 minutes it’s said to go pickup. Once we arrived we were told that the system had been down for online orders that entire time and that it had just been brought back up and that it would be ANOTHER 30-40 minutes. Came back after giving them ANOTHER 45 minutes just for the girl at the pickup register to completely ignore me. After the bartender finally asked me if I had been helped we then had to wait ANOTHER 25 minutes for the order to be completed. Got home and what do we find right on top? A BOX WITH A BBQ SANDWICH WITH A BITE TAKEN OUT! Not sure if one of the cooks was eating in the kitchen while cooking, but it was disgusting. Also having to wait 2 hours for subpar food just to have that happen was ridiculous! Completely disgusted and disappointed by how far downhill this restaurant and the service have gone within the last few years, will not be returning.

The wings are great. The fried mushrooms were delicious.

I have been to this restaurant twice now. Once to eat in - the staff was accommodating and friendly. Checked on us often and made sure our drinks were filled. It was delish by the way! Second time - to pick up take out. It's enough food for a couple meals! Ranch dressing is so good. Staff had on tie-die t-shirts that I think they need to sell!

I'm a huge wing fan, and this place totally did not disappoint. It's not a huge fancy place by any means, but the food speaks for itself. Above even that, it's not going to break the bank. Total win win.

i wish i could put zero stars i absolutely used to love this place. The old management is missed so much to see them getting rid of all of our favorite severs is heartbreaking. I miss the bike nights.
