I typically don’t give five stars away but this place mostly deserved all five stars and more. The staff were exceptionally nice and welcoming. They were patient and took their time making our food. I accidentally lock the bathroom door and I didn’t receive the slightest of annoyance that you might usually receive. It is a tiny restaurant but their seating outside. It is very clean and well kept restaurant. You can usually tell how well the kitchen is clean by how well the bathrooms are kept clean because the same ppl cooking your food is also using the same bathroom.

Very good shawarma- approaching excellent. The seasoning could have been a little more forward and it would have been perfect. As I ate I was able to appreciate it more, but the first bite(s) had me feeling something was missing. The service is excellent. The gentleman who worked the register was super helpful and friendly. Parking here… good luck. I managed to squeeze into a nearby (illegal) space and avoid any violation- but it can make for an expensive lunch if you get caught Very good experience here.

A great place to stop off for a quick, reasonably priced, really good lunch. I had a District Bowl ($12.99) with chicken shawarma over rice and various toppings that were fresh, colorful, and delicious. The Ayran yoghurt drink ($4.00), salty and tart, was perfect with the meal. Inside and outside seating, but it's busy at lunchtime.

Best Shawarma around! If you're near the White House and looking for a different and delicious lunch, you have to try this place. The owner is super hospitable and polite. The shop is small but clean, and only has 3-4 tables. The food is delicious and fresh. One of my better experiences with food in DC. I liked the meat shawarma (lamb and beef) a little better than the chicken shawarma. The Egyptian mango juice sold there is also yummy. You won't regret trying Shawarma District.

Owner is very nice. Shawarma was really good. I love that they let you completely customize your shawarma in any way you want. Very authentic and yet still fast food. The fries are 100/10 amazing.

Craving Solved, Taste Needs Tweaking: A Falafel Wrap Review My grumbling stomach led me to grab a veg falafel wrap, and while it did the job of quelling my hunger, it left me wanting a little more. Flavor Flickers: The falafel itself had good potential, with a decent blend of spices and textures. However, the dryness in some bites definitely took away from the overall enjoyment. More sauce or tahini, perhaps drizzled in, would have been a game-changer! Tip for Tweaking: This is just a friendly suggestion, but next time, ask for a few crispy fries tucked inside. Their saltiness and texture could be the perfect complement to the falafel. Overall: It was a decent bite, but I'd recommend customizing it a bit for a more satisfying experience. Hit 👍 if it was helpful ®️MillionDollarCravings
