The food and atmosphere is great here. But the service is trash. I’m not willing to rank them 5 stars in any category, they don’t deserve any positivity for how embarrassed we were. After we sat down we were served drinks within the first 3-5 minutes, we already knew what we wanted to order in that time frame. The gentleman told us our server would be right over to take our order. That’s fine. 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes later, nothing. Not a follow up or I’ll be right with you or anything. Notice in the photos it was not very busy at all. In between serving drinks it would’ve been nice to do a courtesy check? 20 minutes later we made the decision to leave after paying for my wife’s Dr. Pepper. I wouldn’t have minded waiting for the food if it was being prepared or if it was cooking, but we hadn’t heard a peep since getting our drinks. THEN our server finally approached us, after we started to get up. Not even a “hello” or “sorry for the wait”. Instead she’s asks us, “Are you guys ready to order?” This place needs to better train their staff. They need a training program, specifically on manners or courtesy. So I respond, “we’ve been ready to order”. To which my wife added, “No thanks, I think we’re going to leave after I pay for my drink”.

I'm really sorry I must drop my rating for Sharks again. While most of the wait staff are friendly and helpful this dive continues to be way below average with a real weak spot in management and the kitchen. Save your money and don't spend it here! Our waitress, (Nicki) Morgan et all are exceptional very friendly and helpful with out hovering. Plenty of parking, easy to find. Had a poor experience here tonight one of the members of my group had a legitimate complaint about the food and the waitress refused to take it off the check after asking for a manager who did take the bad food off the bill the waitress complained that we cost her money! Very unprofessional and disappointing as we are here every week and have spent too much money here on average food. This is the lowest rating I've given any establishment. Too bad The food is consistently bad, tried the chili last night and had indigestion before I left this establishment. If it weren't for the pool tables and my Monday night league I would never go back. Very disappointing and getting worse! Don't spend your money here!

The food is good but the service isn't. Every time we go here, it takes a good 10-15 min to even be acknowledged. I'm not sure why since we usually sit close to the bar where several servers, management, and bartender can see us, but it's like we don't exist. This happens every time we go here, so we don't dine here often. Service was a LOT better about 6 years ago, and I enjoyed going here, but its changed, and they are in no hurry to service you.

Hardly ever a wait for a pool table. Staff was very tentative. Pot roast sliders was amazing can't wait to return and try the chicken fried steak sliders.

Hadn't been here many many years. Decided to stop in and try out the food. We were really surprised how good the menu looked and glad to see there was so much more than just your typical bar food menu. Our waitress was nice and very helpful. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms and they were delicious. I had sheppard's pie and it was very good as well. Will certainly go back to try out more food items. The drink menu was very impressive as well.

We stopped in to try out a new eating and entertainment spot. They're a pool table and dart tournament place. If that's what you're looking for, they get 5 🌟. We tried the appetizer, mini fried burritos, and they were typical bar food. Just average, at best. Overall, I'd rate them 4 out of 5.

I called Sharks on a Monday or Tuesday to ask if they could accommodate my family and friends after my dads funeral that was on Saturday. They saved one section of the restaurant for all of us. They were very accommodating and attentive to everyone of us and there was only one server but she made sure everyone was taken care of. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate Sharks and their manager and server for taking care of all of us.

Shark's on Shawnee Mission is a huge entertainment center for all family members. Many pool tables, dart boards, foosball tables and televisions. Plenty of seating and space to enjoy Sunday football Pastrami sandwich and chicken wings were hot and tasty. House baked chips were excellent. Prices are very reasonable and table waitress by Kylie was exceptional. Great independently owned neighborhood business to support.
